    i just thought id start a thread in which you could voice your opinions on what tthe 4th generation of pokemon games should include

    personally i think they should not have any new legendaries in it

    they should have mew etc as the legendaries

    go back to the pokemon roots

    that was people would be able to catch em all on their gba's

    isnt that the whole point of the slogan?
     
    Dear oh dear Cranium, if people would be able to catch all the pokemon, then wats the use of an cable which sicentist who manufacture and created use for?Not only that the pokedex would be easier to fill up U KNOW!!!!!It will be no fun...
     
    you would still have to buy all the games to trade version specific pokemon
    i didnt mean all of them in 1 game, i meant all of the ones you cant catch in the other games put as legendaries eg. celebi
     
    maybe u could trade with yur friends wit rare pokemon but i heard that some pokemon version could clone like G\S\C...
     
    I dont think they will put the cloning back in.... well I dont think they put it in intentionally in the first place, but I think that they might get rid of the possibility. It was too easy then. Well anyway, I think that they should still have Pokemon to trade on the different versions so it would make it harder for people to catch them so easily ^_^

    Well I dont know. They could put the cloning back in!!! I guess they know how popular it was for the many people who owned the game :D

    mmm I think in the next Pokemon they should mix up possibly all of the new features that other previous ones had.

    What I mean is like the Pokemon should have an animation before battle like in pokemon crystal, and like in pokemon G/S/C there should be day time and night time, plus a calendar in which there are events, like the bug catching competition still in G/S/C.
    Then, I think they should finally allow you to go to all the continents that you have visited up to now and allow you to catch all the pokemon of the previous versions, (obviously with secret or legendary pokemon, and with some of em available only in one of the versions or by events).

    Obviously i might say that this is only a dream for me, because it is really improbable that such a version will come, but still, some of those things may be put together by nintendo.

    Wait...I thought with Coll. FR LF and rudy/saph. you can catch all pokemon?
     
    Yes, that is kind of what I mean, but with all the other good game features of the other previous games (e.g. day-night shift on a real clock)
     
    One thing I love about Fire Red and Leaf Green is that There are pokemon from B/R/Y plus G/S/C and also R/S/E if you trade em :)
    That is also what I mean to be in a new pokemon game.

    However, it disappoints me because it has no Day-Night shift as in G/S/C and no weekly events...
     
    wit the settings of Day-night shifts,it will be harder for people to catch them...Like eevee u already had espeon,but u wanna have umbreon but it invole into espeon again...
     
    Oh well, the harder it is, the better! ;)

    I personally have found too easy to fill the pokedex in Pokemon Blue and Gold...

    I think the more difficult it is, the more you will be happy when you catch a pokemon you were looking for :)

    Anyway, regarding espeon and umbreon if you regularily check how happy they are with you, at the stage that they're almost evolving of happiness you can easily arrange to make them evolve in night time if you want umbreon and in daylight if you want espeon :)

    I think its absolutely easy to get umbreon or espeon however you like....

    Ill explain it again:

    There is a lady in goldenrod city who checks how much do your pokemon like you.....

    A pokemon will like you more and more as you make em fight and win, or u give em an haircut, or you treat em well as an overall.

    If you go to this lady regularily she will tell you how much does your pokemon like you.
    If the pokemon gets to like you up to a level that its almost evolving, you can easily stop training him until night time comes, and when it gets night time you whether give him an haircut or train him or whatever.... got what i mean?
     
    Thanks,i always gave theem haircut everyday regarless of the day and time thats why i had espeon.But if you had weekly days than the bug catching contest will be opend by specifed Day like: opens every monday, tuesday,fridays.it gonna be tough because the time goes very slow and i hardly go there
