Blaziken doesn't play that well on defensive side of things, so you should probably replace Bulk Up with Swords Dance; with this, you should be all set for sweeping after only one use. :] Also, make sure to give it Leftovers, so that it could endure an extra hit or two. If you like, you could also replace Flamethrower with Protect. Thanks to this, you'd be able to take better advantage of Leftovers and keep yourself more healthy.

    /assumes this is for 3rd gen R/S/E

Blaziken would love Brick Break as it's still stronger than Double Kick, but you may have already given your only copy to Aggron. I would also agree with Peitharchia's comment on Swords Dance but only if actually getting it isn't a problem for you, as the only way to get SD in 3rd gen is through getting the Ace Trainer on 7th island in FR/LG to teach it to you, buying it at the frontier for 48BP. Ouch. If move tutors aren't a bother for you at all then I would also suggest putting Rock Slide on Aggron in place of Brick Break, and Thunderpunch on Blaziken in place of Blaze Kick.

Heracross would do well with Rock Tomb instead of...any of its normal type moves. It gives it more coverage and a tool to use against Fire and Flying mons. If you're feeling brave, you could try and fit Reversal on and try and abuse Endure + Reversal with 1HP if you think you're fast enough!

Finally curse isn't a great option on ghostmon in general and will probably hurt you more than it helps; replacing it with Thunderbolt for a solid coverage move would help your matchup options and your wallet will be thanking you for it! I'm also sure you can pick up the Shadow Ball TM in Mt. Pyre so that can go in place of Faint Attack (or you can wait until lv48 till it learns it naturally) :)

I'm curious because I've never even begun to understand this reasoning. Why do you suggest this?

If it were competitive, then I could maybe see it (though with a better move than Rock Tomb), but this is in-game. Switching is just about completely risk-free and the last thing in the world anyone should want to do is leave a Heracross in against a Flyer just so that it can miss with an 80% accuracy move and get fainted by a 4x effective Flying move when it would be entirely effortless to just switch in Aggron or even Walrein and, if necessary, tank the hit, then counter with a 2x effective STAB and be done with it.

I'm asking now because you seem a reasonable person with good advice, and I was actually sort of surprised to see this suggestion from you. I hope this doesn't come across as confrontational, because it's just a strategy that I don't think makes sense and as I noted, I've never understood why anyone uses it, much less suggests it. I'm hoping you can make some sense of it.

Now - all that said, it's certainly the case that there aren't a whole lot of good moves available for a level 50 Heracross in RSE, so it's not like there are other moves that desperately need that slot, but still...
