I have a big wishlist. It's not too specific, so it's quite realistic. Here we go!
Berries/Apricorns
Maybe not Apricorns, but goddammit I want berries back. Apparently berries don't grow in Unova, yet trainers give them to you and Pokemon hold them. I want berry plants back, DPt style, but I want something new with them. Hybrid berries, and some berries are worth more depending on how they grow to make better PokeBlocks/Poffins. Hybrids wouldn't be every berry can "breed" with every other berry, berries could have "breeding groups" too, like HP berries, EV berries, status berries etc. So you could plant, say, an Oran Berry next to a Sitrus Berry and after a day they'd become one berry plant with a different type of berry that could heal 100HP or something like that.
Maybe Apricorns could grow too, but only in certain areas or they come off trees, and they'd still make custom PokeBalls.
Seals
Easily my favourite thing about DPt (DPt are my least favourite main series games after the great reboot, let's just establish that now), they were inexplicably left out of BW. Even in DPt they weren't used to their full advantage. I want new seals, and for them to actually affect how Pokemon do in contests. Each seal could have a different contest effect (think powers in Kid Icarus Uprising).
Contests
I've mentioned them a few times already. I want contests back. More specifically, Super Contests.
Now I know what y'all are thinking. "Emerald contests are better", "Dancing sucked", "I can't feel my face". Understandable, but Super Contests were literally RSE contests but with more stuff.
Maybe they could do it slightly differently, though. Dress up your Pokemon at the beginning of the contests, then do an appeal round. Round 2 would be a double appeal round, then round 3 could be Contest battles. The dancing was a bit fun, so that could come back but in the form of a revamped Pokemon Musical, where the dancing thing is exactly the same, but you're putting on a show and competing at the same time.
Secret Bases
One of the best things about RSE, and one of the three good things about DPt.
Secret Bases were incredible. Especially when mixing records and you could visit your friend's Secret Bases. So imagine underground AND overground Secret Bases with the following incredible features.
-Streetpass to get friend's bases
-Choose a Pokemon to stay in your Secret Base (as a pet or a guard or something)
-Dream World decorations can be used as Secret Base decor too
-Put items in there for other people to get
I also reckon it'd be great to battle someone in their Secret Base again, but getting EXP as well.
The bases could also work a bit like Black City/White Forest in the sense that wild Pokemon could appear (like the basics of the Pokemon in your party or something).
Revamped Wifi Features
Before I rant about the spammers and trolls asking for lv9 Reshiram, I'll talk about wifi during the game itself.
First of all, Wifi Contests and Wifi Secret Bases would be great. Wifi Contest speaks for itself, but Wifi Secret Bases? Well first, anyone you've played with that's in your friends list will get your Secret Base and you'll get theirs. Another thing, turning on a C-Gear type thing will enable a Wifi option where you can see where your friends are in real-time. If they're not playing the game, they'll be stood or walking around in their Secret Base, being battle-able whether they're online or not.
Your friends could also help you during the game, like Entralink but online (not having Entralink online was BW/2's biggest screw-up for me).
Now, battle rules need to change a bit too. It'd be unrealistic to ask for Smogon's rules to be implemented, but it wouldn't be unrealistic to ask for Gen IV's battle structure again. I want to choose lv50 or lv100 wifi, I want a big ol' Uber battle, and I want it to be so it can be found out which player DC'd near the end of the battle, then their points could plummet and they could be banned from battling for an hour. The game should also have an in-game warning when a player's battery is running out, and stop the battle when it gets too low, just so there's no unfair point plummeting.
Also, there needs to be a gift system where you can send someone a Pokemon to their Mystery Gift. Wouldn't that be grand?
Streetpass!
I mentioned Streetpass in the Secret Base section, so no need to go to that again. There will be Streetpass features, most probably Streetpass friend registering. Yes, I know 3DS has its own friend system, but if the Pal Pad returned and was made so your 3DS friends with XY were auto-added, and you added other players through Streetpass, that'd be grand.
Also, a Trade Box to go alongside the Battle Box. Put up to three Pokemon in your box and you trade a random one for another random Trade Box Pokemon. You could even set what Pokemon get priority if you go out and realise you need a Magmar or something.
Also, Streetpass item trading.
I won't go into detail about what I want from the game proper (40 new Pokemon post-national, Battle Frontier, PWT coming back etc), because that's too much, so I'll leave it there.
