okay... so there's a background for your banner! time to add a pic! now, take any pic you want... as long as you can erase all the white in it. then take out your magic eraser. (hold on the eraser button until the background eraser and magic eraser options show up) and then, click on the white. it disappears. there's still some white on the pic, so take out your normal eraser and erase.
How about you get a mod to change this to the Photoshop Academy and you will run it and I will start the PSP Acedemy? That way we dont get lessons mixed up in different programs.
hmm... well, text is pretty easy. :\ do you wanna do grunges or celestials now?
EDIT: ****it Stevo, stop editting! XD okay, the grunge goes on BEFORE you put the pic on... so that the pic doesn't get brushed. OR, you can click on the layer that the bg's on, so that the pic isn't effected.
Stevo, i think i'll continue teaching you tomorrow... i'm kinda tired now, for some reason. btw, i'm thinking of adding a tuition fee... in rep. what do you guys think?
i can post it tonight... so wait, did you do the text and stuff yet? well, if so, the basic banner is done. grungey time! now, create a new document, 400x110. set your colors to default, black for foreground, white for background. go to Filter>Render>Clouds. the next step is EASY. go to https://veredgf.fredfarm.com/vbrush/thearchives2.html and download any of their brushes. i suggest 3 of the Random Mess ones. to load them into PS, click the download button, open up PS, and where you see the Brushes thing, click it, and click the black arrow. scroll down until you see a Load Brushes button. then, load them. now, just brush everywhere until you think it looks like a grunge like mine. XD when you're done with that, go to your usual hosting site, and host the pic. (make sure the filetype is png, bmp, gif, or jpg. i wouldn't do a jpg tho, cause they make the pic blurry)
