I would like to learn rendering anyone willing?
 
if you want renders, katty and i are your men/women. XD as for Stevo, putting a pic on is easy. you download the pic to your desktop, and move the pic into PS. then, take out your rectangular marquee tool and select the whole document. then select the move tool and move it into your document. there's easier ways, but i use a mac, so i don't know.
 
sure WolfWood! you're really good at renders and stuff, so i'm sure you'll do well!
 
avatars? okay, avatars are pretty much the same thing, only it's a different size. i suggest 100x100 or 110x110. just do what you did on the banner, and for the pic, try to focus on the face.

i know what he means, Stevo. you know the polygonal lasso tool? well that's what you have to use. make a selection, create a new layer, and on the new layer, make the layer style bevel and emboss.

Erm, AC if it sn't too much trouble can you teach me how to do better backrounds in my banners and improve them? Here's the form:

And like you said I might need work on my cropping. But I guess I also need help finding good fonts to use as well. ^^
 
hmm... well, first off, i'd have to say that the 'Fluffy banner' that you made has terrible choice in fonts. so i guess i can teach you about bg's, and picking better fonts. XD
 
The reason is, my Win Zip is totally not cooperating with me, so I can't load any fonts onto my computer and Photoshop 7.0. But if I could re-register the evaluated version, I could get fonts. But the weird thing is, I bought my Win Zip, not used the evaluation version, so I have no idea why it says my evaluation version has expired. And as for the backrounds, I never could really learn how to make good brushes or use them. I just used what I had.
 
hmm... well, if you can't make good brushes, try downloading them. i make about half of the brushes i use, and download half too.
 
Yeah but that's the thing, I can't download any brushes that would result in being a Win Zip file on my computer. And I can never find any fonts that aren't in Win Zip file. So it's kinda hard when your Win Zip is failing.
