Grasping for the Light: A Teen Titans Roleplay

"It'd be much appreciated" I said, demorphing and checking through the rubble. I found a couple personal disks, and my supplies, but that was it. "I need to get going. The sooner I have a base up and running the better" I said, morphing pteranodon again, pickign up the items, and taking off. I knew that there was an old undersea cave, I could probably make a base in there..
 
I thought about asking eclipse if there was anything besides her base that was destroyed. I made up my mind that I wouldnt ask so that she wouldnt explode on me.
 
When I got to the ocean, I morphed into an icthyosaurus and dove, keeping everythign in my waterproof supply box. I found the caverns and swam into it, and to my suprise and pleasure, it was incredibly roomy, more than enough for what I had in mind...
 
The girl I'd bumped into said "You should really apologize, you should" as she danced back my way. As I bowed, I replied "You're right. So take two apologies at this point. First for bumping into you and second for the lateness of the first." She only giggled at this as I danced off again.
 
OOC: must resist urge to make sarcastic remarks.. so, when is Slade going to notice I'm a run-away?

IC: It didn't take me long to notice that this had been my base a long time ago, a large portion of my equipment was still here, only minorly damaged and incredibly simple to repair. I immediatly got to work on the computers, then worked on the machinery that was kept around, as memories flodded back from when I used this base. In my repair spree, I came to what looked like an incubator. "When did I use this?" I wondered aloud, before setting to work repairing the other sections of the base, and putting the entire base on my network. The whole time though, my mind obsessed over the incubator, trying to remember why I had it down here..
 
I waitd for eclipse to come back above water. I can help bring them under to wherever your base is! I will follow you! as I picked up a few rocks.
 
I morphed back into my icthyosaur form, and swam out of the caverns to the surface area. <just curious, are you capable of using your time abilties to mess with my memory?> I asked, staying just below the surface.

OOC: odds seem really low..

IC: when I didn't get a responce, i was dissapointed, but I dove and headed back to my base, and resumed working on it.

ic: saphira came up on the other side of the sea and sat down on the bank. what am i gonna do? i cant go back to slade... i cant join the titans... she placed her face in her hands, thinking. maybe... i could start my own crime wave....
 
When I was done at the club, hours later I left and stepped into the city. The cool night air was a relief to me as I walked back to base. Rest would be good, I hadn't truly slept for the fast day and a half.
 
I was totally wiped out. Wiring my base, writing the coding to keep my base active, all of it was serving to exaust me. I laid down on one of the beds I had left here, and felt myself doze off gradually.
 
saphira sat there thinking. maybe i can get someone to help me....

IC: Psycho closed his eyes, attempting to sense the girl's presence. It seemed she had escaped from the water, so he followed the path he believed she had taken. He could see her sitting high up on the local bank as he emerged from beneath the waves, creating a big splash.
 
OOC: Sorry I haven't replied... Oh well, seems too late for another 'encounter'.

IC:
A few minutes later, thouhg seeing the bright lights of the various clubs and stores, Illusion decided not to bother. The hangouts seemed a bit pointless, now that she thought of going to one, such as the nearby The Liquid Room.

Rolling her eyes, the criminal then turned and started walking away from the heat of the streetlights, as suddenly the idea of celebrating her victory sounded dull and useless. She could be doing other things at the time, ones that weren't dancing to blaring music.

The vidcom woke me up not a half-hour later. Slade said without waiting "Eclips has left us. Eliminate her." I nodded and pulled on my usual battle outfit and buckled my weapons at my waist. Unusually, I put on the choker from I had on at the club. Despite my instructions I had an entirely different goal in mind. I left and headed back to my old hangout to pull my most important possessions together. I was no assassin.
 
OOC: sorry, vacation got in the way...

IC: I got out of my bed, and though I knew I hadn't been asleep long, I was worried. and when worried, I had to morph, or I'd drive myself crazy. I headed straight to the water area, and morphed back into Icthyosaurus, before darting away.
