grass type pokemon

im up to
the fourth badge in Pastoria city
and i was wondering what grass-type pokemon or any other pokemon you recommend to beat the gym leader
i dont have any grass type pokemon, only bug-type
please recommend pokemon to beat this gym leader
and what level they should be trained to

he has a gyarados so grass wont work you need electric AND grass to beat him it's pretty was pretty easy with my luxray and roselie

If you grab a Roselia, it should be pretty easy. I actually had a Roserade at that point, but if you don't feel like evolving it, or can't, then you don't really have all that many options as far as grass type goes. With the honey trees, you can catch a Cherubi, but those things are sub par at best.

I used Roserade and Luxray mainly to defeat Wake, but you could also use Pikachu/Raichu I guess, but I recommend using a grass and an electic type to defeat him.
