2nd Gen Green? What's the difference?

I probably sound like a wierdo but what was the difference between Red/Blue sprites and Green sprites? I've heard their worse than the American ones, but I wish I could see what they actually looked like. 'Cept no one's ever ripped them, not even Serebii, I think. :(

You can get them on pe2k. And in some ways, i like the green sprites better.

I wish I could find a site to order Green version off of!...I've looked but I can't find it....except for auction sites, which I don't use.

I have the game, only green though, so cant finish dex, and I read as well as deploma there was some way to get mew true?, also apearence area diffs?
