    Like a Metang but as a greet!

    Nice to be here, my name is Reco Ayriss.

    I've been a member of forums before, but the last one was a roleplaying forum. Even that was about 4 or 5 years ago.

    I've been playing Pokémon since the 90's except for the Hoenn region (planning to play the new versions someday soon) but always alone. Living out in the country we didn't actually have wonderful internet, making trading and battling with other people difficult to say the least.

    I hope to become a member of this community and make some friends here too, after all: Aren't Pokémon better when shared?

    Love your greeting title, very creative. You haven't played to Hoenn region? That's too bad, it's not my favorite, but the remake was very well-done. Funny you live out in the country, as I do as well, and i know what you mean lol.

    Your greeting is funny, why did you pick Metang? Just curious, especially since you haven't played the region he debuted in '^^

    OmegaRuby and AlphaSapphire are fantastic, you should definitely try them out! :D

    And yes, Pokemon is much more fun with other people to share it with :)
     
    I used to not really like Steel types at all, but that all changed when I played White 2 and tried the Pure Steel challenge. Basically it involved using 6 steel type pokemon, which was quite handy and even easy, except... when running into fighting types.

    Then I found a metang, evolved it into metagross and WHAM! Fighting types were no longer an issue. Since then I always try to get a metagross for my team in any pokemon game where it's possible. Even in Y although I'm not getting a lot of luck with friend safari's
     
    Ah, ok! Metagross is a really great pokemon! His attack is so high, and of course that typing is super helpful!
    Have you tried trading for one in Y? I'm sure someone would be happy to help you get one. Beldum is pretty common since it's so popular for battling. :D
     
    Hadn't thought about that, I'm used to trading through the GTS. Making it impossible to trade for any of the three stages before I've seen one. And I haven't.

    I'll probably take a good look around here to see what people want for a Beldum, Metang or Metagross.

    I'm assuming that 'perfect' Pokémon are still popular?

    You don't have to have seen one. You can go to the very bottom of the letter list and pick "What Pokemon?" and you can type whatever you want in. :)

    But I'm sure looking here would be way more efficient. I'm sure someone has been breeding hundreds of them to get a shiny and would give you one for free.

    And yeah 5iv AKA "perfect" Pokemon are still popular :D
