    Hi everyone! I'm Deloop, your typical friendly great looking video game nerd. I'm a 17, soon to be 18, year old guy who's currently studying to become...well SOMETHING and I live in the cold land known as Sweden. When it comes to Pokemon, I used to be a big fan but my interest for the franchise kinda died when Diamond and Pearl was announced. But after playing Black 2 and seeing the amazing looking trailer for X and Y, I decided to try to get back into the series again. Though I still haven't played Diamond or Black 1 so I don't know much about those games...yet. ^^

    Aside from video games, I also do enjoy roleplaying and writing in general. An old friend of mine recommended this side for both my RP needs and to expand my knowledge of Pokemon. So I'll probably spend most of my time here on PC around those parts of the forum. x)

    Anyway, I look forward to be a part of the community and I hope to see you around! :D
     
    Hey there Deloop, welcome to PokeCommunity. It's great to know you've come back to playing Pokemon :D I've never met a person from Sweden before, how is the weather over there at this time of year? Although from what you've said I have to assume that it snows.

    This forum is definitely the place to go for Pokemon discussions. If you'd like to know more about Diamond or Black, you can head over to the Fourth Generation Games or Black and White forums.

    For all your Black 2 trading or battling needs, check out the Trade Corner or Battle Center. In the Trade Corner you can find trades and learn how to breed for the best Pokemon possible. In the Battle Center, you can find guides and help on raising a team, finding a quick battle, or participate in tournaments.

    As for roleplaying, we do have a Roleplay Corner here for you to check out. I'd recommend joining someone else's roleplay before you create your own in order to establish a reputation there.

    For writing, we also have a Fan Fiction & Writing section here. I believe it isn't just limited to Pokemon related topics, so feel free to post away, as long as you aren't breaking any rules.

    It's never to late to get back into the scheme of things! Personally I didn't care much for Gen IV, however it's still has it charm.
    What made you pick up a copy of Black 2?

    You're not alone, Deloop. My interest died in the middle of the 3rd generation, and that was purely from a gameplay standpoint. It haven't had enough interest or will power to keep up with the series since that point, but I still like Pokemon for reasons that seem to change on a daily basis.

    Oh, right, it's the culture of Pokemon. In the same sense that you'd be here because of your interest in writing, I'm here because of my interest in art. Pokemon art is still one of my favorite things to participate in and look at. Also, these X/Y starters are starting to grow on me. How can they not? They're in everybody's sig. Unless you quit Pokemon cold turkey, I don't think you're ever too fargone.
