Hello. I am, as you should know, Ire. We don't know each other yet, but with a bit of luck that'll change soon. Firstly, if you're interested in becoming my friend, I'll greatfully accept the offer, because as it's quite easy to see, I'm a newcomer here, but to the world of Pokemon, I consider myself a returning veteran, but more on that later. ;)
Before I bore you with my experiences with Pokemon, let me tell you a bit more about myself...
I live in Dereham in Norfolk, England. I consider myself to be quite intelligent, but not so much as to make you think I'm a prodigy. I just speak and write with proper grammar, much to the irritance of my peers; they say it's odd. But still, if it's what I want to do, then I do it (If it's within reason, naturally). I enjoy a relatively luxurious life, I'm fed, clothed, go to a good school, have a wide range of pets, and have quite a few pets. It's better than many of those in less fortunate countries!
I consider myself to be quite charitable and kind, which makes no sense as to why I chose my username. (Ire, it means great fury, anger, etc.) I often donate money to various charities, particularly the NSPCC, the RSPA, Dogstrust and the Cats Protection League. I like animals too, and considering I have two dogs, a cat, and a gerbil, it shows reasonably often! Don't worry; I'm not over-zealous about this kind of thing, It's just what I think and feel.
So now we come to the subject of the main reason I joined here; Pokemon. I've been playing since Silver, although my first Game was Red and I went on from there. If you want the exact order of all of the games I've bought concerning Pokemon, there's a list at the bottom of the page. I'm not forcing you to read it; but if you want to, it's there.
My favourite types are Dark, Ghost and Psychic, as to why... Psychic because my best Pokemon in Red was an Alakazam and that's where my love of the Psychic type started off. The Dark type because it has cool Pokemon (In my opinion), like Umbreon and Weavile, and the Ghost type, because they are simply awesome, and very much like a mixture of Dark and Psychic. I'm not saying you have to agree with me. (But you should, it's the only real choice of Pokemon :P)
I'm quite an accomplished battler, but there's always room for improvement, and I know that every loss and mistake just adds to my already wide arsenal of strengths! I haven't battled on Wi-Fi yet, as I just got Platinum (WHOO!), but I hope to soon, and maybe we could battle sometime? And maybe We could go on some games at the Wi-Fi Plaza? Or not. We'll have to see.
I don't really bother with contests, but with the release of HG/SS I feel like I should. Dunno why, but I do. I really can't wait until HG/SS come out in the UK! I don't know which version I'll get, but I'll have to make my mind up eventually... Hmm....
