    So I guess I'd better man up and make an introduction, since I've lurked here for 48 hours and never bothered to make an intro, haha. ;)

    I go by the name Thrudgelmir, as you can see up on the top left of this post (obviously so, but I have to point it out :P), but I prefer to be called Kai, since that's a much easier name to remember and it's much shorter.

    I came to this forum on total accident while looking for ROM-hacking tools for a certain game, but I couldn't access said page because of an error message that pretty much told me, ''Page is over-requested, sign in or come back later.'', which isn't a very good way to get started being introduced to a forum, if I do say so myself. :|

    I've been playing the Pokemon games since Red and Blue came out, and never missed a beat with all the gameplay changes. (Though I never played any 2nd or 3rd gen games, but oh well) I currently have a 3DS, but don't have X or Y yet, couldn't be bothered to wake up at midnight. I kinda feel left out now. :(

    Anyway, I hope to fit in here and I'd be glad to get along with everyone. :D

    I don't even have a 3DS yet man {D:} I really want the new game but I don't know if I can justify spending £175 for a handheld for just one game, what do you think?!

    But yeah, welcome to the forum dude.

    Do get X and Y! We can all vouch that it's totally amazing. n~n I already have 110 hours in mine. You can always poke around our X & Y board if you have questions to ask about the game so don't be scared to check that out. All of PC is wonderful and we try hard to ensure it's easy for new peeps to settle into. Welcome!

    Yeah, those errors do pop every once in a while. Sometimes the forum gets a little too much traffic for it to handle so the site makes itself un-viewable for those who don't have accounts to help out those of us who already have one and can't access the forum. It's frustrating, yeah, but sadly something we have to do to help the server move along. PC does plan to upgrade quite soon, though!

    I'm sure you'll settle in just fine so no worries at all. I'd argue that you've settled in already, actually. Have an amazing day and feel free to message me if you need anything~
     
    Like everyone else is saying, Pokemon XY is completely awesome and definitely worth the 3DS. Plus you get Animal Crossing new leaf, monster hunter series, and the new smash bros.
