    I'm training up my Protean Froakie which I bred(special thanks to the awesome user who traded me one), and I'm planning to use it for my rating mode battles. So, could you guys tell me...
    1)a suitable moveset for Greninja that is easily obtained but still effective?
    2)how to play Greninja using that moveset with Protean?
    AsI have seen, Protean Greninjas are very versatile and can rotate between types easily, but I need a guide to help me along in playing Greninja properly. I(and all those like me) would really appreciate if you could teach how to use Protean Greninja to its fullest potential :) thanks!
     
    Greninja's movepool is very good, but it suffers from 4-moveslot syndrome:
    -Hydro Pump
    -Ice Beam
    -Hidden Power (Fire)/Dark Pulse
    -U-turn
    Nature: Hasty/Naive
    EVs: 4 Atk/252 SAtk/252 Spe
    Item: Life Orb
    Ability: Protean

    It can also set up quick Spikes to support the team:
    -Spikes
    -Hydro Pump
    -U-turn/Hidden Power (Fire)
    -Ice Beam/Hidden Power (Fire)
    Nature: Hasty/Timid
    EVs: 4 Atk/252 SAtk/252 Spe
    Item: Focus Sash/Life Orb
    Ability: Protean

    Or it can go physical to catch the opponent off-guard:
    -Waterfall/Water Shuriken
    -Acrobatics
    -Power-Up Punch
    -Shadow Sneak/Night Slash/Water Shuriken
    Nature: Jolly
    EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spe
    Item: Flying Gem
    Ability: Protean
