3rd Gen Groudon and Kyogre Help for Emerald?

Hey there Guys

I was wondering if anyone can help me, I've got emerald and i was wondering how you catch Groudon and Kyogre after the whole Rayquazer thing? i know i spelt Rayqazer wrong lol. Anyway i went to the weather instaute and they say were they are but i was wondering if i have to keep walking though the grass till they pop up or do i have to go to some sort of place to get them? The cave of origin is off limits so i can't get there

Anyone one know what to do?

Groudon = Terra Cave

Kyogre = Marine Cave

They show up randomly around Hoenn ^^; Just look for cave enterances that weren't there before XD

After beating the Elite Four go to the Weather Institute and talk to the professor on the 2nd floor. He will say there is a drought on Route ... or it is raining heavily on Route ... Do not waste time once he has told you;it will switch places.

It helps when you're trying to find the cave XD Drought = Groudon / Flood = Kyogre if you hadn't guessed >>;

For Kyogre, go on the route with a pokemon that knows dive. Look for a deep patch of water and dive there. Save.

For Groudon, do the same as kyogre, but if it says route 114, then you might want to bring a surfer/waterfaller. Enter the cave. Save.


And, when looking for them, SEARCH LIKE THE WIND, (insert username here)!! After a certain amount of time, they will flee and find a new lair.

BE WARNED! *SPOILER* they are each at Lv.70, and they know their OHKO moves!

For Groudon search for a cave that wasn't there before for kyogre search for a Dive spot that wasn't there.

It's just easiest to ask the Weather guy v.v;;

That way you know where it is, and don't have to go all through Hoenn looking.

I am sure that you will beat the Elite Four though. Kyogre and Groudon are really hard though. My brother and I found out the hard way.

Cool thanks guys, it helped and i caught them go masterballs lol, and incase your wondering transfered them from ruby so i didn't cheat lol ah well now onto the other legandary pokemon, here's a question can you catch suciune, Entai and Rioku if thats how you spell there names?

Well no Entei,Raikou and Suicine (spelling0 you must trade from Fire red/Leaf Green.
