Me and ddrox will host the Get-Together Challenge just like last year. We aim to have a Challenge accessible for everyone. We plan on hosting a "map" event, which let players move on the interactive map and each player gains new rule for their game based on where to move. If you want to see example, see this thread from last Halloween.
Right now we're working under the curtain on the rules and map, but I want to talk about points. My idea is to give away 1/3/5 points each time new room is discovered and give more points (around 50) for anyone who completes the Challenge up to 4th Gym and to Champion. I also plan on having special room with more points in exchange for bigger challenge. Are these points okay?
Detective! I have a job for you. There is a Team Rocket Hideout underneath the Celadon City. I need you to infiltrate it and get as many clues as possible.

General Rules:
This Challenge can be completed on any main series Pokemon game. Additionally, any ROM hack or fan game completed through 8 gym badges and an Elite Four counts as well.
The Challenge is completed once you beat the region's Elite Four and the credits fully roll. Yes that means beating AZ or Brendan or running from Koko if that's the type of thing your game makes you do.
Playing Pokémon game can take a pretty long time, so anyone who can beat at least 4 Gyms/Olivia will be granted 20 points to the bar of their choosing. You will also get 20 more points after finishing the whole Challenge.
For games that have a postgame story (such as the Stark Mountain arc, the Delta Episode, or Kanto in the Johto games), completing that and re-defeating the Elite Four earns you an additional 20 points.
To make sure you've read the rules, your favourite coffee is now strong black coffee.
Legendary and Mythical Pokémon are banned from this challenge. Pokémon Amie, Refresh, and the EXP Share are allowed in all games in which they exist
If you need to evolve a Pokémon through trading, feel free to do so. Otherwise, no trading allowed. Similarly, hacking or trading in items is allowed for evolutions, provided it is unavailable before the Elite Four in your game.
Detective Challenge Rules
The "Challenge" here is that you will not only play the game of your choosing, but also will move on the map below. When you sign up, choose your starting position and a trainer sprite that should represent you on the map in your sign-up.
After finishing each Gym, post in the thread and include the number of a room adjacent to your character. Your character will then move to the selected room the next time we update the thread and you will be given an additional rule, which you have to play with for the remainder of the run unless mentioned otherwise. This way, you will have unique (and hopefully fun) Challenge. If you want to check the list of your rules, just click on your character on the map and hover over the name of the rule.
After signing up or obtaining a badge, please wait until you are told what your new rule is before proceeding.
In the case of a contradiction between the rules here and the personalized rules from moving through the map, the text of the personalized rule prevails unless noted otherwise.
All of your rules stack. In the case of a direct contradiction, either ddrox13 or Janp will settle the contradiction.
Players of games in the Alola region will not face gyms. Instead, they proceed to a new room after every Grand Trial, as well as after four specific Trials: the Trial of Verdant Cavern, the Trial of Wela Volcano Park, the Trial of the Abandoned Supermarket, and the Trial of Vast Poni Canyon.
DON'T GET CAUGHT!
The Hideout is full of Team Rocket Grunts and Admins. You can randomly encounter one of them. If that happen everyone will activate a Global Rule. These rules applies to everyone starting their next segment and are really hard. But on the other side, you'll earn more points from these rooms.
