4th Gen GTS: Well... this sucks.

    I remember this being mentioned in a different thread, but paid no attention to it. Now that it's happening to me, I'd just like a few answers.

    When you're on GTS and trying to trade a Legendary/Uber (Celebi, Mew, Lugia, etc), has anyone gotten the message, "This Pokemon can not be offered for trade!"?

    What's up with that? It's not all Pokes, because I traded something (I think a worthless Alakazam) for a Bronzong as a test, and it worked. It's only with my legendaries. Celebi I'm pretty sure is hacked, but Lugia and Mew I'm positive are legit and untouched (level 70 and level 30, respectively). However, when I deposit one of those, it works fine.

    Anyone know what's going on?

    Hmmm... hate to disagree, but are you sure?

    I put a Mew up for trade last night, and this morning got a Jirachi in return (I finally got a legit WISHMKR Jirachi! Sadly, it's of the utterly horrible Gentle nature), so that means someone was able to trade a legendary.

    Would the ban be regional?

    well then I have no clue either cause im just going by what people were saying all over the web.

    maybe they are making it so you can only do legendaries for legendaries? just a guess, havent really tested the theory
     
    You know I believe it may have something to do with someone asking for a poke they have not seen I believe that I read that you cannot trade for something that you do not have in your pokedex already.

    that's not a ban.. you can only ask for something that you already have seen.. that's always been on the GTS.. -__-

    Well, I apologize if some people are busy and don't have the time to search for these things. So go suck an egg, pseudo-mod.

    Wolf, it's not legendary for legendary, because that's what I was trying for last night. I honestly don't see why it would be regional, really... it's possible, I just don't understand why.

    This whole thing just seems... curious.
