Guess That Pokemon !!

right...I forgot about that XD...still not the pokemon I was thinking of.

next clue'll give it away, so meh...
clue#2: it is a grass type...
 
Let's sum up the clues we have so far
1: Shy and rather rare in both R/B/Y and G/S/C.
2: Was used by a Gym Leader once
3: Is a Grass type.

Let's see... Chikorita is considered shy but not in R/B/Y. Something rare... are we looking at Tangela?
 
I know the answer, but for the sake of prolonging the game (and I don't wanna come up wit ha new pokemon and new clues() I'll throw my guess and say Weedle XD
 
Is it Scyther? That was a bug type that was in one of the games only :-)
 
Woot, alrighty! Let's see, thinking of a hard one...

Clue 1: This pokemon can poison trees.
 
I'm guessing that it is a poison-type then...

Clue 2: This pokemon is grass type
 
Nidoking isn't Grass type.

Clue 3: This pokemon has an evolution
 
Again, weedle isn't Grass type, it's Bug.

Clue 4: This pokemon evolves by levelling up
