I don't think Zigzagoon is even dual-type...just normal

uhh...no.

Dugtrio is a straight ground type. no second type. Besides, it can be found in G/S/C. XD

clue#3: there is only one of them in the game (and it is not legendary)
 
nope, not Charizard or Venusaur.

Keep guessing. At this rate you'll get it anyways; no one else is guessing.
 
not Aerodactyl or Gyarados (which can be caught in every game anyways, so it is inconsistant with clue#2).

Clue#4: a "choice" pokemon (meaning you either aqcquire it or another pokemon depending on an in-game choice)
