Is the combo of Guts/Toxic/Facade as strong as it appears to be?
    Here is my scenario.
    2v2 set
    Crobat@BPowder
EVs: 252 SPD, the others don't matter
    Toxic
    C Ray
    Haze
    Foresight

    Swellow@Choice Band
    EVs:252 ATK, 252 SPD
    Facade
    Steel Wing
    Wing Attack
    HP Ghost
    Facade's type matches Swellow's type:1.5x
Swellow is PSNed and has Guts:1.5x
Swellow is PSNed and is using Facade:1.5x
    Choice Band bonus:1.5x
    5.0625x normal damage!

EVs in ATK to boost Facade even more.

Is this a very good phy sweeper or is it not as good as it looks?

The point of Crobat is to Toxic on Swellow, foresight anything ghost, and haze if they try to raise stats. C Ray protects Swellow via enemy confusion.

it looks nice but facade hits only one enemy. swellows SpecDef and normal def suck. Toxic will kill you evnetually. Skarm rapes you. and you mixed up a few of the damage multipliers:

    1. Facade increases in power alone, not swellow's attack power.
    2. Guts/Choice Band raise your actual stat, not the attacking move.

This is how the situation would usually go...

Crobat used toxic! Swellow was poisoned!
Swellow uses Facade on <insert pokemon here>! 100% Damage!
Other Opponent's pokemon used thunderbolt on swellow! 100% Damage! and yeah thats pretty much it.... thunderbolt could be replaced with: rockslide, rockblast, icebeam, hyperbeam lol, and many others...

it will work on stupid people however, so congrats. it'll kill people who don't suspect it though so thats the bright side.

Yes, I have to aggree with Bleep. One of the most OU physical sweepers, Aerodactyl, which is often used as an opener, too, can kill both by outspeeding them and using a Rock Slide (Rock Slide hits both Swellow and Crobat). Salamence can do the same thing.
Your strategy can work on newbs, though.

well in my humble humble opinion, just about anything can work on newbs...

yeah, toxic on swellow isn't exactly smart... you're wasting a turn on crobat and the extra attack power isn't really needed anyway. Return+CB is enough to sweep a lot of things as is.

works well in single battle, if you switch into a WoW or Toxic

Prob will only work in-game since you don't see kids with CB-Aerodactyl
on their GBA's that much. =\

Toxic-ing your own Poke is kinda of doing suicide. :(

Besides, you can't compare what heracross can do with guts with what Mr.Birdie can do with guts on.

switch into a WoW? lol. that cuts your attack to 1/3, doesn't it?. thats bad.

not where Guts is concerned, it boosts your attack 1.5x, just like any status. I've been trying Sleep Talk Swellow. Switch into a Spore/Sleep Powder/Hypnosis, and sweep with Sleep Talk. Of course yuo have to sacrifice one move for Sleep Talk.

WoW increases your attack if you have guts ;-)

guts boosts your attack by 1.5x when put into any status condition and negates the effect of a burn

ah, i see... thought the burn took effect, THEN multiplied by 1.5x... sorry for teh confusion.
