Gym Battles Resetting

    Sometimes when I am battling down a gym, I'll get to a point where I can't battle anymore. It'll let me pick my pokemon and start, but right after it says GO it kicks me back to the gym lobby.

    Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?
     
    Usually this is caused either by server issues or going out of range of the gym before the battle starts. It's also happened to me on occasion just randomly and I had to reset the game in order to solve it, but that did work each time. It's an annoying bug for sure but your Pokémon don't lose any HP for it at least so there's nothing lost other than a few seconds to sort it out thankfully!
     
    Thanks, hopefully they do fix it. The gyms are super competitive in my city. If someone sees you spend minutes/potions tearing down a 30000 point gym they'll have no problem waiting until it has 200 points left and then jumping in it themselves. That happens all of the time when I have a good connection, but this glitch almost ensures I'm not going to get the gym I worked for :(
     
    Yeah? I was wondering about that. So if I'm attacking and someone else is training, it kicks me out?
