After .hack//Legeds of the twilight, the group split into smaller crews, with one consisting of Mirelle and Kaz. Together, the formed the Crystal Hunters, a group of odds-and-ends players that fight back when CC Corp makes a stupid desicion.

Some of the more well-known players include the De-Admin'd Balmung and Aura.

The CC Corp has gone too far this time.

They have decided to kill the world, that it is too glitchy and virus-filled, too full of unstable Areas to continue.
