Hacked Pokemon weaker than trained pokemon?

    I have a friend who's brother hacked (AR) his game and gave him all kinds of level ups, items, and most of all, rare candies. So I challenged him to a battle using my lvl 64 starter Empoleon against his hacked (AR) lvl 100 starter Torterra...and I won. So I'm asking, just out of clarification, because I'm pretty sure this is the case, but was it because I trained my Empoleon and that his EV values were higher that I beat the hacke level 100 leviathan?
     
    Erm... It all really depends on how they were hacked. Did he use the rare candies to level his Pokes? Because rare candies make your pokemon weak.

    His were incredibly weak due to Rare Candies.
    NEVER use Rare Candies.

    Your Pokemon gained EV's while his did not.

    That is why you beat him so easily.

    If he hacked them to have perfect EV's and IV's, however, he would have more than likely beaten you .
     
    Accustomed to No,dis are always against the cheating and the hacked Pokémon, besides the Rare Candieses don't give Evs, better to give her when your Pokémons will definitely have Evs you maximize.
     
    I lvld my luxray up with rare candies about two or three levels but he's a level 82 and i raised him since he was just a level three shinx :) he was so cute...but anyways he can beat ANY pokemon (below his level lol) i have yet to encounter a pokemon that was higher level than he is :)
     
    I can remember years ago (Before the Metals were announced/released) and me and my cousin were having an argument over the rare candy cheat. He didn't believe me when I said that rare candied Pokémon are weaker than ones that are trained (Though obviously I didn't know about EV training etc so I couldn't really explain why), so we battled.

    The results were hilarious, his Pokémon were Level 30-40 and all evolved as I remember, mine was my first team, and only one or two had evolved (I preferred to raise them til they learn their strongest moves before evolving - and I still do) and I completely wiped the floor with him.

    Of course that didn't stop him cheating to raise his Pokémon but it was good to actually be proved right.

    I've never used the rare candy cheat or gameshark/hack codes to raise Pokémon, and don't intend to. Ruins the whole point of the games.
