I have had no problems with hacked pokemon at all. But I do know some people don't like them and I wanna know why.

Like what is the most problems you have had with a hacked pokemon,
What had it done to your game?

in my opinion it ruins the whole game experience since it's much about collecting and such..
If you could get all those things you want in a blink of an eye - then whats the point of even playing? i like longing and try over and over to get something right just because that's how the game is supposed to be!

I used to use them, when I was like 11, but it was only to get the event items so I could get legendary. Since then I have reset my game though.

I like how you say when you was like 11...how old are you now 12 lol

anyways the issue with hacked pokemon is many people can tell if there hacked or not and hacked pokemon are not aloud in battles or any tournaments that this forums or any of the members host.Plus to the addition of that it just takes the fun out of the game and gives you a advantage.

Hacked events are the worst. really just knowing that you traded to someone a legit event and you got a hacked one is a terible feeling. It has added a whole level of paranoia in trading about hacked pokemon.

I like using my AR for rare candie and other items, and to check IVs/ EVs. There useful but i think we would be better off without them.

If i had the money i would go out and go to a gamestop buy all the Ar's and then destroy them.

I was going to trade at the GTS, and I saw a Celebi at level 10, he wanted to trade it for an Arceus.
Well, I wanted to trade it since Celebi is much rarer, but I asked which region it was from first.
What did he answer? The USA...
And that made it clear to me this is a hacked Celebi, since the only level 10 and lower Celebi was from Japan......

lol'd i can image what he tried to tell you after that.

I sort of feel bad about cheating when I do it so I try not to. I just used an AR on Heart Gold and I feel bad about it. What should I do? :(

I have never used any cheats on my official* games. I don't intend to mess up my save file and cause random pixels to appear on the screen.

    *~~wink wink~~

I've never had issues with a hacked game. I got bored of the hacking after a while and restarted, but it never caused permanent damage to the cartridge.

I hacked once back when i had a emerald version and it screwed my game up so much that the game would not even start up after a while and was useless.

I have cheated for a long time, and it has never screwed up any of my games. I think it is o.k to have hacked Pokemon, as it doesn't bother me. I have even hacked so much to point that people would think that the game is ruined, but it wasn't.

I used ar now for cloning/items/rare candies, but that's it.

When I was younger, I had an ar for the SP. I hacked my old ruby game into oblivion. It was to the point where I could rarely find a wild pokemon, only a black circle with a question mark inside it would appear in place of the pokemon. I also got tons of bad eggs.

And the reason people don't like hacks is because many people on PC put hard work into breeding shinies/good IV's, whatever, and for you to just start up your pokesav/ar and do the same thing with a couple clicks is really unfair to them. If you hack on your own game, and don't redistribute it, nobody would care, it's just that very few of the people who hack keep it in their own game.

I once get a Cynthia's Milotic for my legimate one at the GTS...>_>
It was level 58, moves: Dragon Pulse,Mirror Coat,Ice Beam and something(probably Surf). And was caught at....pokemon league.
Now i reject this. I was actually at the pokemon league, and i could use it, but i didn't. I released it,cause i didn't want any hacks. I miss my old Milotic. T_T I actually had no other ones.

i cant trade as use vba/nocash so say i want to use an alakazam i train an abra to 16 evolve it THEN i release kadabra cheat for a level 17 alakazam
i also cheat for pokemon like grolithe when playin leaf green cause my big bro deleted fire red

I don't usually hack pokemon, I mean, i use my AR to get a certain Pokemon, then i bread them, and raise them as if they weren't hacked.

I have a few free unlegit ones from a friend and I have used them in Diamond, though not in a Wi-Fi battle though. I train them the legit way so I'm okays, but, no way will they be given to anyone else cos' I don't like cheating others, &&. They're now retired in my boxes after going through my Diamond journey with me :)

Basically the only remotely valid argument is that it's not fair in competitive play. This argument only wins however if the hacked pokemon is breaking the in game limits somehow such as by knowing a move it can't know or breaking it's top possible stats or total EV values etc....

When they don't break limits, it's more of a controversy because you see it's technically just wasting more time for the same advantage to do it the "fair" way.

I blame the fact that Pokemon is an RPG for the fact that hacking to waste less time is looked down upon. After all, RPGs have been deemed "time wasters".
