    Alright, I just wanted to know what people think.



    Hacked Pokemon. I know almost everyone doesnt like them, and neither do I. If you dont care about owning hacked Pokemon and such, please post here.


    I recently got Wi-Fi, and I know im going to probably be recieving hacked Pokemon rather I like it or not. What do you think? Should a Pokemon be ignored and not used, just because an Action Replay exploited that Shaymin, instead of Nintendo itself?


    Other than attacks, Evs, OTs, and all of that stuff, is a hacked pokemon really that bad? I want to convince myself that they arent so I can start trading and stuff, but as a perfectionist I keep telling myself that I shouldnt. Even if I dont trade them, or battle with them (with other people) I want to tell myself that they are still REAL Pokemon. Most will laugh at this thread, but if you really have something good to say, please go right ahead. Thanks!
     
    i really dislike them, the only one i ever made an exception for is arceus (but cmon hes the coooolest)

    If you make an exeption for Arceus because he's "the coooolest", then shouldnt that exeption go for ALL Pokemon? Your calling a hacked Arceus OK, then arent other Pokemon hacked still comming from the same place?
     
    no, because i only traded for the arceus for some in-game fun

    i dont use anything but legits for trading and battling, because it cheats people out of their pokemon and their victories
     
    You know i really dont mind people using and Ar or any other hacking devised, but when it comes they want to trade one of my pokemon that i got legit, that took me hours maybe days to get, to trade it forone that was got from 5 minute ago.

    Thats just bad.

    I mean other than Wi-Fi and stuff. For myself, and not battling or trading anyone, should I care if a Pokemon is hacked or not? I know I should just grow up and get over it but its hard for me..
     
    no, i agree. if it's only for yourself it's fine to use an AR. just dont use it for evil (aka trading and battling)
     
    It sounds like you yourself have something against using hacked Pokémon, even for just in-game. Go with your heart, follow your ideals, and you can't go wrong.

    Btw, I agree with not using hacked Pokémon in any sense. In general, most Pokémon I use for anything are specifically bred/caught and trained by myself, and things I get from other people end up being for show (or breeding). Can't go wrong with something you worked hard to make yourself. x_x
     
    Yes, I think it's ok.
    As long as you don't alter crap like it's attack, defence, speed, ect.
    It doesn't really matter much to me.
     
    Its you view im all for using an AR to clone cause some people like me wnat to ev train and such but don't have time im at soccer everyday i don't have time to train i still do its just every once and a while i use an AR to clone or to get vitamins for ev training.
     
    Well i also agree in that you can hack to use pokemon you like, imagine to have a good shiny that you like, with decent nature and well train, but it wouldn be fair to trade it for a legit one.

    You can hack for fun in-game

    yes but what im saying is people can use it to training they got the pokemon legit its nothing wrong
     
    Anything you end up doing in-game is all good, as long as you respect the wishes of the people you end up trading/battling with. That's obviously with regards to Wi-Fi though, and it seems this is a more personal issue.
     
    it depends if you used a code to make a certain pokemon appear before you then yea i dont like it but if you used a code to get the event item then im ok with that because to me the pokemon is technically legit.

    because its true i mean the pokemon is 100% legit but the item isn't its a loop hole.
     
    Pokemon Trainer Alex (I didnt look back, sorry if spelled name wrong) had some good points by saying that its a personal issue and I should follow my heart. But my mom got me Wi-Fi today, and I just simply dont want to not use it because of my own selfish reasons. And, you mean if I use the AR to get the Event Item, than its Legit? I thought Darkrai was going to know different moves at the event.
