[Other] Hacking Advance Generation On Mac

    After doing some small searches I've found most threads or forums that ask this question are basically dead now but I figured I'd try and ask here.

    Does anyone know of any tools I can acquire that will let me hack an advance generation game on a Mac, I'm not talking like making small edits to evolution so I can fill the dex, I'm talking full blown new hack that will take months and months to make.

    I know a lot of people say use bootcamp to create a windows partition on the mac so you can run windows programs but I'm having trouble even being able to run windows on my mac so i'd prefer just being able to run things on my native system
