okay.. i have searched, i have asked for help, and i have LITERALLY pulled my hair out trying to figure this out.

i want a simple hack of the red/blue/yellow/green version. any, i dont care. all i want to do is change sprites, and change text. i dont want revamps, i dont want "OMGNEWPOKEMONALLMAPSMOREREGIONSBIGGERPOKEDEXOMG" i just want a simple, easy, first hack of pokemon to get my feet wet, and i dont want to follow the crowd to firered for "better graphics because first gen sucks and i have to use programs cause hex is IMPOSSIBLE"

i have asked a couple of you "great hackers that hate "editors" that use programs, because after reading some of your posts i idolized you. and then you blew me off... so instead of quietly trying to maturely ask to not piss everyone off and look like a noob... im just going to bluntly ask.

how? dont care what you say, program or hex... just tell me how. i SINCERELY want to learn. this isnt a half-arsed kids attempt at a hobby... i really want to become a pokemon hacker...
