I stopped after the fourth generation, so I'm completely out of the loop, but there are plenty of people there who will give you advice on your teams...or volunteer to be on the receiving end of them! Just get out there and start posting and you'll make friends in no time! In the meantime, why not check out the New User's Hangout? It's a good place to get started :3

My favorite Pokemon game is definitely Sapphire and 3rd Gen. I loved the secret base feature, contests, and pokeblock blending. I was really disappointed when the following games didn't include those features. But at least we got them back in ORAS right? Haha. My favorite type of Pokemon is water. What's your type preference?

I don't necessarily battle competitively. I kind of just do it for the fun and experience. xP I sort of signed up here just to make friends since it seems like ORAS is super multiplayer/interaction based, you know? xP

Hello there Faith, and welcome! I'm a bit late to this but it's nice to see a fellow fan of Water-types. I love how they're so diverse with performance on a team plus a lot of them are blue and I love blue-colored things, so it all works out well.

We happen to have a Water-type club where you can discuss all about Water Pokemon, but I'm sure you'll enjoy everything the community has on offer. No surprise you love Sapphire, given the presence of Team Aqua. I'm assuming this means you love Alpha Sapphire better of the Hoenn remakes? I kinda love Aqua over Magma myself, and I really regret not playing Sapphire first of the original games (I played Ruby first that time) but I will redeem myself and have Alpha Sapphire be my main of the remakes, with Omega Ruby just as a secondary game.
