Halo - Three Fires
Trapped in space merely floating around in dropships, half your transport ship dead. You wait for the covenant scum to pick up your dropship, you look around your dropship. The pilot is dead, the rest of the seats filled with others, mainly dead or injured. Suddenly your dropship starts to move.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Three covenant cruisers.
No brutes or drones.
You can RP as elites, grunts, hunters (need my permission to be a hunter) and jackals. On the human side you can RP as marines (all branches in the games), Spartans (permission needed from me) and non-combat roles on the ships (i.e., mechanic and such).
You can also RP the human's newest allies the furries, animals that walk on two legs and talk (mobian characters fit here). If you wish to RP elephant, rhino and cheetah based characters then get permission from me.
If you want any other weapons then ask me and may or may not allow them.
Any script style posting will be ignored, you have been warned.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spartans:
Scout - Armoured in a lightweight version of the Spartan armour they can be identified by the fact their suits do not have built in shields. Instead they use stolen covenant technology and carry energy shields. Also they can be recognised do to the fact their armour is camouflaged.
Light Role - These Spartans also wear the lightweight armour but they have built in shield generators. Their shield generators cannot be on constantly and must be activated when needed, when used the shield then has to recharge and this takes 3 hours. To compensate for this their primary weapon is a BR55 (correct me if wrong) with an underslung grenade launcher, any covenant and human grenades can be loaded in here but it only holds one round.
Heavy Role - These Spartans wear the heavyweight armour and have a built in shield, it has to be activated when needed as well and when depleted it takes one hour to recharge. Their arms and legs are strengthened so they can carry heavy weaponry and ammo. Their preferred weapon is machine gun placements minus the placement (As seen at the start of Halo 2).
Juggernauts - These Spartans wear heavyweight armour and have constant shields, when their shield is depleted it takes 20 minutes to recharge. They are trained to field any weapon and are able to flip anything up to the weight of a tank.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Marines:
Scouts - Dressed in camouflaged flak armour and combats the scouts are the easiest marines to kill in a firefight. They make up for this by normally never being involved in a firefight and working mainly stealthily. Their preferred weapon is a combat knife or when available a needler.
Light Marines - Dressed in combats and wearing armoured helmets the light marines are the most commonly seen marines. They are found in the thick of every firefight and they are normally armed with a combat rifle or SMG.
Heavy Marines/ODST - These troops are normally deployed to take control of an enemy position fast and hard. The ODST are normally clad from head to toe in black, they wear full armoured helmets and flak vests. The heavy marines are normally clad in specially designed camouflaged suits with flexible Kevlar worked into the fabric. Both are normally armed with a BR55 and underslung grenade launchers (UGL). The UGL's can fire any grenades but can only be loaded with one round.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Covenant:
Grunt Scouts – Specialised grunts trained as scouts, their normal gas tanks are missing as they have gas converters built into their respirators. Their rank is displayed in drab colours to help them blend in with their background and their armours base colour is brown. They are normally armed with needlers.
Grunts – These are your normal grunts, normally under the command of a low ranking elite. They are normally armed with plasma pistols and plasma grenades.
Scout Elites – Their armour is brown and their rank colours are normally natural colours instead of bright colours. They carry energy shields and normally an energy sword, their long range weapon is twin needlers.
Elites – These are you normal elites, the lowest ranking elites are normally in charge of grunts while higher-ranking elites normally command other elites or jackals. Normally armed with Plasma rifles (twin or single) and built in active camo.
Scout Jackals – These jackals have all the fittings of the normal jackals except having coloured shields. Also their rank markings are displayed in drab colours on their armour. Normally armed with Plasma Pistols.
Jackals – Your normal jackals, they usually hunt in packs or pairs. They can also be found serving under elites. Normally armed with plasma pistols and energy shields.
Hunters – Walking tanks, highly armoured and strong. Usually in pairs or in some cases as guards of important covenant, each hunter has a their own unique weakness. Normally armed with fuel rod cannons and massive shields.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Furries:
Scouts – Normally very lithe yet strong furries, they wear light combat fatigues and carry light weapons of their own choosing.
Light Infantry – Open to most types of furry they wear combat fatigues and body armour. They carry a vast range of weaponry depending on personal preference.
Heavy Infantry – Normally large furries or strong furries. They normally carry anti-tank weapons and are dressed in head to toe body armour.

Ghosts are used on the covenant vessels to move around quickly.

My characters:
Name: Greg Mainer
Number: 378 (So Spartan 378)
Rank: Sargeant
Spartan or Marine: Spartan
Role and Weapons: Scout/Light role
He fills either of these two roles but wears Scout armour and carries a light role BR55. He is normally deployed to infiltrate enemy positions alone or with an AI along for the ride, in this he has the AI with him. (No it's not Cortana it's a recreation of his dead lover. A gift from HQ for joining the Spartan II project).
Weapons - BR55 with UGL, energy shield and twin combat knives.
Description: Spartan 378 was one of the people from the first Spartan project, he transferred back to normal service and was then recruited for the Spartan II project after the attack on Reach.
if he trusts you he will remove his helmet and allow you to see his face, if he does then details of him will be provided then.
Name: Lena
Rank: None
Spartan or Marine: Ex-Marine and now a AI
Role and Weapons: Communication AI and companion to Greg.
Description: Lena fell in love with Greg during her time serving alongside him but once prmoted to sargeant herself, she was knocked from a warthog by a member of her squad. Unfortunately Greg was nearby, he held her dying body as she said I love you to him and just before she died he said it back to her. Due to his spartan I implants he was able to store her personality and meories in a chip that was meant to store him in for transplanting to a new body.
When he was asked to join the Spartan II project and told he could have one request completed no matter what it was he leapt on the change to have Lena made into an AI.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
IC:
Greg watches the door glow red hot before him, sighing he readies his energy shield the glow visible through the doorway. Oddly making him look like a jackal due to his position, then Lena pings on in his suit.
"This doesn't look good hun we're in a covvie cruiser."
Keeping his comms closed he replies.
"I know and unfortunately my pod is mainly dead although my armour is a new type the covenant haven't seen before so they may try to capture us but you need to keep quiet that'd kill each other to get hold of an AI."
She appears on the inside of his helmet, tranparent on his screen. She brushes a hand through her long brown hair.
"Don't worry I'll be fine just you be careful."
The door then fell with a clang. The sound echoing through the room. It was quiet. The Elites were waiting to see what would come out. Either to surrender or attack.
They were ready. The Grunts that took down the door fled. But were quickly forced back to be the first to enter. Two Elites followed the two in. They had a good idea what to expect but they hoped they were wrong.
The Grunts shivered in fear gripping their plasma pistols. There was one last door to open. It was unlocked so all they had to do was approach it and press the button. One of the grunts pressed the button and the door opened slowly.
