Happy Hour Meowth Event for PAL players!

    hey all,

    This has gone under the radar a bit but for those of you that don't know this, GF are giving away Happy Hour Meowths through a serial code. Not really sure why they're doing it and also not sure why PAL is getting it first lol, JPN and NA get events first normally, but I'm not complaining! I only found out about it through serebii. there's no info about this event on the official pokemon website :O

    To claim the meowth go to mystery gift, get gift with code and type in the code: HAPPY

    Now u have a meowth with the event only move HAPPY HOUR! This move doubles prize money after a battle. it stacks with amulet coin/luck incense and prize money o powers as well as the move payday which is part of mewoths moveset. with amulet coin, prize money o power llv 3 and happy hour u can get a 12x multipler to money earned after a battle. an elite 4 run will net u 600k ! (each elite 4 members gives around a base 10k i believe?)

    This is a pretty cool distribution, I love the legendary Pokemon but it's awesome to see Pokemon with special moves, items etc being given away. As for why they're doing it, I guess it's got something to do with the recently announced Alolan Meowth.

    maybe but there have been loads of other alola forms too. also i wonder why they gave it to PAL first. i doubt it'll be a PAL only event but who knows
     
    Oh, thinking about it, it'd be nice if Happy Hour was an egg move. Then you could breed it into various other Pokemon, that actually work well with various other teams. But hey, you don't know until you try.

    happy hours sn event exclusive move. making it an egg move defeats the purpose of it lol

    Well, I guess it makes the most sense for Meowth to have it, anyways.

    hm maybe. i think this is the first time pal players get an event where a pokemon knows happy hour. the only other events have been japanese events :/I'd rather have shimy zygarde tho lol

    maybe but we can just catch an alolan meowth in game so hm... thinking of turning this meowth into a payday persian xd
