Hardest desicion in a Pokemon Game?

Which starter to choose and who to keep on my team have always bugged me.
 
When I was younger, fanboyism always drew me to one starter over the others, as recently as the GenIII games (I was 15 at their launch :P), but recently, with my knack for acquiring prior knowledge and moderate understanding of competitive-level team building, I found the decision between Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup to be excruciatingly hard, as well as every other starter pokemon in games I've restarted in the past four years or so...
 
My hardest decision, which is still bugging me now, is what flying type pokemon to use. I also have to replace one of my 6 pokemon, which i dont know which one to replace.
My party: bronzor, gible, psyduck, grotle, luxio, gastly.
I was thinking replaceing grotle with Tropius, because it is a grass and flying type, but if you have suggestions please tell me!
 
hmm wow i've had many experiences
one was screw around with missingno and wreck my game or not

what i did was i wondered what moves missingno had so i got on my blue version and got my ditto and then did all the crap you had to do to get there and now im in the battle and i send out my ditto. at first i wasnt very sure what to do, i wasn't sure what to expect. i used copy any and from what i learned missingnos moves are
1. skull bash
2. water gun
3. water gun
4. well there was no fourth attack
well any way so later that day i got bored and decided to check my hall-o-fame records and when i was looking through them the pokemon had gibberish for names and there levels where completely screwed up! at first i was thinking 'wtf man!!! what the heck is going on!?'
and when i got to the last pokemon it was just this blob of pixels with, once again, gibberish for its name. at first i was kinda freaked out, i was wondering if i had completely screwed up my game. i didn't i just screwed up my hall of fame.
and thats the tragic tale of what happened, the tough decision was to copy it or not
but the REAL decision was to screw up my game or not. so kids, if you ever want to know what missingnos moves are, just ask me. dont be like me and screw up your hall of fame or worse.

and all the people and pokemon lived happily ever after, well not really ditto suffered from severe head trauma and well i wasnt happy from the hall of fame thing.
ditto is still in the hospital today, and is due to get out next month.

I think one of the hardest decisions I ever made was to choose whether or not to replace Shock Wave with X-Scissor on one of my pokemon's movesets...since Shock Wave and X-Scissor are both TMs that you can only obtain and use once....
 
My hardest decision so far has been what team to use in Platinum. I only just got it and I'm taking it along with me on vacation next week (only just starting it then) and I still don't know what I'm going to be using. The last few games I was able to decide pretty quickly before starting, but I'm going into Platinum having only three decided and one or two tentative choices. It'll be interesting...

But when I generally play a pokemon game, usually the hardest decision is which pokemon to have in party and to make sure its as balanced as possible.
 
Possibly deciding what Pokemon to use, since my choices change so often. For instance, I wanted to use Infernape, Arcanine, and Ninetales on my team. Obviously, that's not practical unless you're a fire fanatic.
 
My first file on Sapphire, I had my Blaziken at level 69. Now, I hadn't figured out the puzzle in the last gym, and I was really freaking out because the last badge I got that had a level limit was the Feather Badge that allowed Pokemon at level 70 and below to obey. I didn't know this only applied to traded Pokemon, and I was stuck in that last gym. I made the decision to start a new game that never lived up to my first file. Long live Chictor.
 
Choosing between the Hoenn starters. And Emerald, Latios or Latias... And the masterball Cresselia or Mesprit.
