So yeah, basically what was the hardest dungeon you had to go through in PMD? For me, it would be Gentle Slope Cave. Y'know, the place you go to before /the 2nd town. It was probably the most annoying, excruciating, and insane dungeon I've ever had to experience. In SMD when I played it, my MC was a Bulbasaur, my partner was a Totodile. Almost everything was something that looked easy but was actually threatening. For example:

    - Onix. That might seem like the easiest thing at first glance, but no, it's actually one of the hardest. It shrugged off everything we threw at it (even Razor leaf and Water gun, both do nothing) and roughly destroys my partner with attacks. It's like as if Totodile are the main prey of these Onix. And once they evolve I more or less have to try to get past them.

    - Bouffalant. Everything it tries is ridiculously powerful and we can't deal any massive damage onto it. Also Sap sipper.

    - As for everything else, they were all either annoying, way too bulky, or way too powerful.

As soon as I finished that, I purchased Energy ball and never looked back. So what was the hardest PMD dungeon for you guys?

Pretty sure the Zero Isle Dungeons (the ones where you're reduced to level 1 and carry like no items or something before going in) are supposed to be the most challenging ones, but I haven't really ever challenged those so I wouldn't know what they're like. They seem like more trouble than it's worth.

As far non-Zero Isle dungeons, my vote would have to go for Spacial Rift. Charizard has Heat Wave iirc, Xatu has Ominous Wind, and I'm fairly sure Magnezone has discharge. It's just a really unpleasant combination of Pokemon to run into.

Honorable shoutout to Dark Crater because fuck Camerupt and its Earth Power. The Monster Houses are pretty brutal there, too.
