"Good." She replied, laying in the grass. The sky was clear and blue today, but still beautiful. Seraph closed her eyes. The air was cool and frosty, and she felt a bit chilled, but it was alright. The cool September air smelled like snow already, and it brought thoughs of winter and christmas to Saraph's mind.

"That's good," Peter said, leaning against a tree. "This is pretty much the best place to hang out. It's so nice out here."

"Yeah..." Saraph sighed, hereyes still closed. She sat up and stretched, looking out at the vast, blue lake. The giant squid was again visible right beneath the surface of the water. It was so graceful...Saraph wished that their break was longer so that she could have time to just go to sleep out here.. It was so peaceful, despite the distant noise of students in the distance. She remembered the murder. She closed her eyes tightly and tried to shake away the though. The cold suddenly seemed to get to her, and she shivered a bit. She took a few deep breaths and stopped.

"You alright?" Peter asked. He paused as though he was going to say something. 'Should I?' The thought was going through his mind quickly. "Seraph," he began. "Ummm... This may not be the best time to bring this up, but -" he paused and then stopped the sentence. "Never mind."

Seraph looked up at Peter. "What?" She asked. "You were going to say something, what was it?" She stood up. "You can tell me inside...It's cold out.." She turned and walked toward the castle.

Peter followed her inside, slightly happy he could buy some time but the more it was cooked up the worse it'd become.
"Where to in the castle?" he asked. He had many emotions running around inside. He wasn't sure which would pop out first.

"The common room." Saraph said calmly, as she opeed the castle doors and walked inside. Once they were at the portrait, she said the password and entered. She felt a rush of warmth as she entered, about three other students were inside, doing homework, and there was a roaring fire in the fireplace. Seraph sat on one of the couches in front of a table and began fiddling with a deck of cards. "What was it you wanted to tell me?" She asked Peter.

Peter followed her in, quite nervous as to what he was going to tell her and her reaction. He sat and tried to act calm.
"Well, Seraph," he began. "Ummm... Erm... Uhhh... I just gotta use the toilet, I'll be back in a minute," he ran into the bathroom and washed his face. What would he do? What would he say? After about two minutes he came back out again. "What were we doing?"

Saraph gave him an odd look. "You know, if you're keeping something from me, I suggest you just don't bring it up in the first place. So either tell me or don't!" She shuffled the card deck boredly, turning her attention from Peter.

"Yeah," Peter said. "You're right. Seraph, I... Ummm... Really... Like..." he was going to say "You" but instead ended up flowing off to "Your hair. And the way you look." he felt really stupid.

Seraph laughed. She knew what he was going to say. "Thanks." She said, blushing a bit. "But why keep that a secret?" someone's cat leapt up onto the sofa next to her ad she stroked it and it purred and lifted it's rear. Seraph thought, "If I were a cat, I'd be purring too."

"Uhhh..." Peter said. "Well for starters we only met yesterday so I figured you'd think I was weird. Then the fact that your still in shock for what happened yesterday afternoon. And then there's also the fact that this is just plain scary to come right out and tell you."
It felt alot better to get it off his chest. Peter was feeling please with the result.

Seraph stared at Peter for a moment. "It felt awkward to give me a compliment?" She asked, laughing. "You are weird, then. Well, better be off to herbology." she went up to the girls dormitory, retrieved her herbology textbook and climbed out the portrait hole.

"I don't know," Peter muttered after he left. He felt so stupid. He grabbed his dark green Defense Against the Dark Arts book and hurried off.

Professor Lupin was eagerly awaiting his students as they entered the classroom. So far, his lessons had been quite great. Peter wondered what they would learn today.
"Today," Lupin began. "You will be learning about how to conquer werewolves."
This took Peter by surprise. It was no shock that this had something to do with Fenrir, but why would Lupin, a wolf himself, be suggesting how to conquer them?
"Now," he continued. "As you all know, I am a werewolf, meaning I know the inner workings. Now, there are a few ways. Some are stereotypical. Anyone know of a stereotypical?"
Peter put his hand up. "Silver."
"Good work, Peter," Lupin congratulated. "Five points to Ravenclaw. Anyone know why this is stereotypical and false. Peter?"
"Because the full moon has a silver glow and that is the source of a werewolf's power."
"Very good. Another five points."

Peter left and headed back to the Ravenclaw Common Room, hoping Seraph would be back.

Seraph was faced with another seemingly pointless lesson, this time with some sort of large, squishy, sluglike plant. She had to pull something out of it and put it in a cup. It was absolutely disgusting, and Seraph had no idea what it was supposed to teach her. She pulled the leather gloves she had to wear for this lesson and dropped them on a pile of the other students' slimey gloves. She was glad to be out of the humid greenhouse in the fresh cool air again. She had potions next.

Peter waited until the end of the break and Seraph had not returned. He could still catch her in Potions which started in a few minutes. He grabbed all of his stuff and ran down to the dungeons.

The dungeons weren't what you'd consider a nice place. It was very drippy and smelly from other classes potions. He would be glad when the period was over.

Seraph took her seat in the dungeons were potions class took place. She placed her textbook in front of her and flipped through to the page written on the board. A few minutes later, professor Slughorn entered the room. Seraph had no idea what today's assignment was, and honestly didn't care. This was the last period, and she was very, very glad.

"Hey," Peter said sitting next to her. "Do you want to come watch the sunset by the lake after this period?"
Slughorn was writing stuff on the board. Something about a Paralysis-Be-Gone Potion.

Seraph smiled. "Sure." She said, smiling. She began chopping up bits of rat liver and dropping them into her cauldron. She followed the instructions in her book, but instead of getting a bright green potion, it was purple. She sighed. Seraph was never good at potions. She dumped her potion like everyone else after class and gathered her things. School was over, yes! She dashed downstairs and outside. The sun was just beginnig to go down, and the sky was barely pink. She sat next to the lake, which was once again glassy and clear.

Peter was a bit slow packing but quickly followed Seraph to the lake. He sat down next to her. "The lake is beautiful right now. Like you." he then realised he just said something he didn't mean to and that she'd be weirded out.
