HAHA I always hated Kai because before I knew too much about the game he'd totally try to get Karen lol. That or she would leave to the city. but he's a chill guy hahah

Naw, he's the rival for Popuri, and vice versa in More Friends of Mineral Town. It's funny in DS Cute because Rick thinks Kai has a thing for Popuri, so he basically wants Kai's head on a silver platter, and Kai's oblivious to it. Well, he's more obvlivious in the Mineral Town games. I think he's figured it out in DS Cute. xD

Speaking of that...

Who are the most attractive HM guys/girls in your opinion?

I don't really like any of the girls. Just Claire. She's adorable. ;o;

oh my b I should have clarified I was talking about N64 harvest moon.

idk I like Karen, popuri, and elli I guess. We'll see whether or not kathy grows on me lol

^^ Those are my favorites. mostly in that order, except I dunno about the last 2. The bandanna guys seem awesome to me, though! XD

as for girls, I like Claire and Akari the best. ^^

in ToT I sold almost double in fishing than I did in harvesting. Do you guys ever do this? I find fishing to be easier to do on your own time. And as long as your stamina permits, you can get a lot more money out of it. I'll plant crops then just go fish, at the beginning of the game I was pulling in 1500 a day at least with only one silkworm and one chicken :-D (silkworms FTW)

I don't have ToT, but I do agree with the fishing on your own time thing. I find myself doing that early in the morning on AWL when I'm done watering crops. I let the animals out at 6, so what's there to do at 3AM? ;o;
 
certainly not sleep ;) we've got better things to do

but what sucks is that in ToT you have to sleep a certain amount of time to have your stamina restored. so like gone are the days where you can go to bed at 5:50, utterly drained, and wake up at 6:00 back at full strength
 
I would like to join! I've all ways loved Harvest Moon. I have one for the game boy color. I have A wonderful life for gamecube. and I have Harvest Moon DS! I also plan on getting Tree of Tranquility for my report card!

what about power berries? In ToT I've gotten the first two and they're really helpful. I just need 2 or 3 more to have max stamina.

You guys definitely have to play through Harvest Moon 64 if you haven't. Its even worth buying an N64 from eb games ;)
 
Hello! Can I join the club? I have Harvest Moon DS, and it's a fun game to play! The girls are more attractive.

One thing I noticed. Why does the boys in Harvest Moon DS look LESS attractive than the ones in HM:FoMT and MFoMT? Gray was DEFORMED in that game! I wanted to cry!

Hm...

Guys: Gray, Cliff, Kai.
Girls: Claire (MC), Popuri, Lumina, Nami, that witch, basically ALMOST all the girls in HM DS. But not the Harvest Goddess. She... isn't my type.

Gray: I played MFoMT, and he was my target. He LOOKS soooooo charming with the hat.
Cliff: I didn't choose him, but he looks charming. Especially his shy personality.
Kai: No reason.
Claire: You'll understand me if you played MFoMT.
Popuri: I like pink.
Lumina: She's my love target in HM DS. She looks beautiful, even if I am a girl.
Nami: She... is my type.
Witch: Badass character, and now I'm all pumped up! I like to contradict to her though.

Hana-chan, out.
 
Wooo~ I haven't posted in a few days! XD my laptop screen broke and won't be fixed for 2 weeks. So I'll TRY to get on still. If I can. ^^;

!! how fly does that game look! i'll smoke everyone in the animal races with my cow lol.

Actually when I was getting ToT was upset I couldn't get Animal March. The game play looks sweet, and it looks like the camera moves like the HM 64 and playstation versions. It seems to have all of the great features we've all come to love like tons of different animals to raise, obviously the harvest sprites and some sweet fire god and harvest goddess. I actually don't know much else about the game than what was in the vid. But I'm pumped.

do we know the america release date?
 
No release date yet. I don't think they've even confirmed a US release yet.. But they HAVE to release it here!! T_T

XD I just really, really hope so.
 
lol regardless of money, they should do it as a courtesy for us diehard harvest moon fans
