if not, i'm looking to stop soon, I've done it almost 100 times and nothing...

i'd also like to continue doing things besides this

    Thank you to all!

Can you clarify= What is this time machine method? XD

Tje time machine method is where you reject an egg, save, get and hatch the egg, chek stats, reset, switch accordingly, and ding! Perfect IVs :)

Sounds a lot like this to be honest: https://www.pokecommunity.com/threads/312140. Are you sure you're doing it correctly? Because what you're doing sounds like you leave it up to chance, which is literally 31^6 chance of perfect IVs.

Edit: Read title. For shiny it's still 1/whateverthousand.

This sounds very confusing, sorry but im a bit dense...

sounds like an extremely tempting method though from what ingcoliptis said. I'd also like to try it if someone would be kind enough to explain it simply for me :)

and I do believe they raised your chances for finding a shiny pokemon in the 6th gen. I've found 2 Marowak while looking for a shiny Phanpy so far. No luck with anything else though, hopefully soon but perfect IVs sounds wonderful as of now, so many people are just being to competitive and using mega evolution during my wifi battles, i don't stand a chance... which makes it disappointing and not so fun when all your pokemon are wiped out with one hit. I'd very much like to enjoy my wifi battles again so this method seems to be my shining light :)
