Has anyone heard of the banned episodes?

Meh...just thought if anyone new to the pokemon thing (which is rare around this time) hasn't heard of them one way or another could view this. If everyone here has heard of it, then this thread is quite ointless and I wasted several minutes of everyones time making and responding to this.

Yeah. So, I've seen Beauty and the Beach dubbed on TV, Legend of Dratini subbed, and I have the Porygon one RAW. Trying to get the subbed one, though.

Of course, the real reason why they banned The Legend of Dratini is b/c of gun use. You also have to take into account that episodes 1-40 were syndicated, so they weren't going to air that ep anyway...

I've seen a mini clip of the epileptical seizure scene from the Porygon episode. Fortunately for me, the quality wasn't that good and the video size was very small. It was a bit bright though. No wonder how the seizures took place. And yeah... we all should know about the banned episodes by now :P

I wanna smack everyone who's afraid of the "seizure episode." It has NO EFFECT when watching it on your comp. Computers and televisions display things differently. It's more harmful on the television than it is on your comp. The most that'll occur from watching it on your comp is an eye sore or headache.

If you're that darn paranoid, lower your monitor's brightness/contrast while watching.

And to answer your question, I've long since heard of the episodes. Yet to watch them though, but I did see the almighty seizure scene in the "OMG WATCH THIS AND YOU'LL GET A SEIZURE LOLZ!!2!!11" episode.

I've seen "Holiday at Akopuroko" fansubbed (although I'd prefer a raw copy, since whoever subbed this one decided to make Satoshi swear a lot), "The Legend of Miniryuu" raw, and "Electric Soldier Porigon" fansubbed (but with fewer curses). And they're all great episodes, too.

I haven't bothered to look for "The Cave of Ice", since it seems like just another typical Jouto filler to me, but if it comes along, I'll watch it...it'd be nice to see the classic black Ruujura again.

Trust me, it was rather boring. Aside from Takeshi kissing Rougela, mistakening her for Joy, the episode was a standard Jouto filler that was boring as hell.
