Has anyone tried a no evolution run?

That would be... Impossible. It might work in the anime, but we all know that only Pikachu could possible win those battles because by now it should be insanely overlevelled. Therefore, no. But it might be interesting...

Actually, I think there's a specific challenge named for using all unevolved Pokemon, baby Pokemon challenge? The last I heard of it was a blog entry by Miss Doronjo iirc.

It would be somewhat difficult, but nowhere near impossible. People have been doing those sorts of challenges since Red and Blue/Green came out. The Eviolite in Black and White makes it even easier (it boosts unevolved Pokémon's defenses by 50%). Plenty of unevolved Pokémon are perfectly capable of doing that sort of challenge. Some can even outclass certain fully evolved Pokémon. A few examples are: Light Ball Pikachu, Scyther, DeepSeaTooth Clampearl, Munchlax, etc. Let's not forget single stage Pokémon such as Tauros or Smeargle.

Overall, a challenge such as this would require much more strategy than brute strength (as well as a bit of level grinding), but it is entirely possible.

Believe me, its far from impossible. :B
As Toujours as said, I did a non-evolution run at Pokemon Black and White, that I updated it at the blog I've written in.

The trick really is to grind; as well as having a good moveset for your pokemon, as well as having a good knowledge about type advantage, etc; then you'd should be fine. :3

I've never thought of it because in my opinion I felt that it was impossible and because i really wanted to fill up my Pokedex by evolving them.

When I was a kid I beat Yellow with a team of Pikachu, Pidgey, Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, and a Sandshrew

Hahaha, this is indeed very true. There's a few pokemon who only swap stats during evolution and are still very capable of going without it. Another good example is Tangela (it didn't have an evolution until gen 4) and it does an amazing job with Eviolite

I tried it once on Pokemon white and it's kiinda hard. owo;; It is possible tho. o3o Buutt it's impossible for n00bish ppl liek me. xD;;

I did it once. It was easy until fighting the Elite Four... But I managed to defeat the champion somehow... (In Platinum.)
