I Love This Film. Has anyone Seen It/Watched It Before? Anyway, It's A Story Based On A True Story (Heres The REAL Hachiko's Wiki Page ~ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hachik%C5%8D) its a really sad dog film of a Japanese Akita Who Waits Almost A Decade For His Deceased Master To Return To The Train Station Where They Met Every Night.

I did,on Christmas!!Its really good.Poor dog,it was waiting for its owner for (dont know how long). But it's good
For 9 Years. I Saw The Film Yesterday And I Cried My Eyes Out. He Promised To Wait For His Master, Yet, He Forfilled His Promise. He Met His Master at The End. I Cried At School Today When I Was Thinking About The Film.
It's The Best Film Of The Year - It's Official. ^_^

Richard Gere in another Americanized remake of a Japanese movie? I haven't seen it, but I probably will, eventually, for curiosity's sake.

I've seen Shall We Dance?, both the original (Japanese) and the remake (American, also starring Mr. Gere), and the original is better, though the remake wasn't bad. That's usually how it goes (compare 'Ringu' with 'The Ring') so my expectations will be a bit low for this one though I'll probably get suckered by the story regardless because it's about a dog and it's sad.

am most proud of this movie. It was filmed in my city of Woonsocket, RI where the train station is.
I cried hard on my first day of watching it! I love this movie!
The house the family lives in is filmed in Bristol, RI.

My bestfriend highly recommended this movie to me and she said it was really a heart-warming movie. I borrowed her dvd but sadly, I still wasn't able to watch it because of a tight schedule and so I just returned it. One day I'm gonna check that movie out even if I ain't a dog lover or so.
