    Haunted Mansion


    Welcome to the Haunted Mansion, a club dedicated to ghost type Pokémon such as the famous Gengar. We will talk about ghost types AND only ghost types.

    Rules and Warnings
    1. No talking about non-ghost type Pokémon. [1pt]
    2. Do not bash ghost type Pokémon. [2pts]
    3. Respect other members and their opinions. [4pts if you don't respect them]
    4. Do not flame or spam this thread. [4pts]

    Warnings
    You can get a warning when you break the rules above. Example; you broke Rule 1 and 3, so you'll get five points, since breaking rule 1 costs 1 point and breaking rule 3 costs 4 points. Since 1 plus 4 equals 5, you get 5 points.

    If you exceed 20 points or more, you'll get booted out.

    Ghost type pokemon have a great possession possession of all-around good attacks. The fact ghost types are used a lot to inflict status effects since many of their moves cause some status effect.
    The fact that with the combination of Dark, some pokemon have no weakness... too muh to say.
    Though I swear in the 3 years I've hung out at the pokemon groups area I don't think I ever did join a ghost fan club that or the club died early

    What's your favorite Ghost Type Move:
    Nightmare, always liking the fact that the opponent couldn't do anything and that it was be attacked in it's sleep that sounded so bad in my head xD

    Reason to join: Huge huge HUGE fan of a lot of Ghost types. Rotom, Drifloon, Dusknoir, Banette, Sableye, Golurk, and all of them really. They're pretty cute imo despite being ghosts. :<

    Hex just because I love using status moves lol.

    Why I want to join: Ghost types kind of have that ~mysterious~ vibe about them, and I love leaving Normal and Fighting types without any option xD

    I like Will-o-Wisp + Hex because it makes me feel strategical. :D

    Man how could I forget Will-O-Wisp. It looks so epic in the anime! Especially when Fantina used it against Ash. Cool how they show it more as an offensive than a status move.

    Who's your favorite ghost-type specialist?
    Definitly Morty by far! Seeing as most of the Johto Gym Leaders were my favoritexD The fact that he relies on stopping his opponents by confusing or frightening them since he knows that most Ghosts types don't have as much physical/offensive power.
    That and his gym in crystal took me forever to figure out! I had to ask my cousin how to work the gym and I usually like doing things myself...

    Reason to join: Just recently started getting into Ghost-Types, and they're rather unique. Plus, Jellicent and Cofagrigus are some pretty cool Pokemon.

    Shauntal~!~! And Agatha! Two wonderful people with lovely personalities. I like Shauntal's Golurk and Chandelure that both pack a punch. And Agatha in the anime is a hilarious character and her Gengar is just....PRO! XD Oh and I forgot, I like Fantina too!! Drifblim is awesome!!! XD

    My fave Ghost-type move is Shadow Ball and my fave specialist of Ghost-types is Fantina (she's a Pokemon Coordinator just like Dawn).

    I'm not a huge fan of any of them, to be honest. I'm going with Phoebe just because I'm a Hoenn fanboy and because I fought here more than any other ghost type specialist.

    My favorite Ghost specialist is Shauntal and by far, she's one of my favorites in the game.

    Shauntal was a pain in the neck for me.. probably because my pokemon weren't leveled up that high and I didn't have any dark type moves like I did in Diamond. I can't remember which pokemon gave me a tough time but it was probably Cofagrigus because it didn't have a second type that I could use to my advantage.
    I remember forgetting what Jellicent was for a sec an accidentally sent out my Samurott.. and well it had Energy Ball xD
     
    *cracks knuckles* I shall now step up to my duty as a co-owner and help things around a bit. XP

    What is your most-used Ghost type Pokemon in any game and why?
    I used my Drifloon which became a Driblim for the most part in Diamond. I had it learn Cut and Defog, the latter perfectly suit my hot air balloon. It was the Pokemon which I tried out Ominous Wind for the first time and it gave me a nice shock when all its stats were raised! Alas, Ghost types for the win~! XD

    Well I tend to use ghost type moves more than having a ghost type pokemon in my team, though sometimes I switch things around :D
    But hmmm most used? When I started Crystal when I was younger I had gastly on my team for quite a bit. But I replaced it with Misdreavus when I got to Mt. Silver. Probably because it had Mean Look which I used for Raikou and Entie (But I also used Golbat for that purpose as well)
    I also had some obsession with using Perish Song xD
