Have you ever came close to death?

I got ran over by a car, as I had to cross a road with my bike.
 
I was posting a really long post on PC and my computer's battery died....

and that made me do some dangerous things. ;;
 
When I was born, I almost died. My umbilical (?) cord was around my throat somehow, and even after they removed it, I wasn't breathing. They had to get loads of medics in, and I would've died if they'd widened my windpipe somehow just under a minute later than they did.
 
I had some sickness(don't know what it was and after 3 years I still don't). I was out of school for like a month. Idk what was wrong with me though...that count?
 
I fell outta of a tree ;_;


A tall one.
I didnt do any serious damage though cos I fell onto a old mattress.

No, I was never close to death. Well, I did have to be rescued by lifeguards twice, but I was only under for like 30 seconds..

I watched a trailer for the live action Dragonball Z movie. It felt like someone ripped out my heart and slapped me in the face with it. I was in a coma for two weeks.
 
A Car on Car Collision...I Don't Remember Much...Just that I Fainted and woke up in the emergency room...With A Severely Fractured arm and Both Legs...

The BIG problem was that one of my lungs was severely Fractured...and I Was heavily operated on...For...Lets say awhile...Luckily I was Okay...(Though I was watched for a week to make sure I Was)...=)
 
when i was 6, i got really mad at my dad and punched through a couple of windows. I bled out a bit. The towel that was wrapped around me was completely red from blood.
 
hmm well let me see
1.at birth the cord thingy gto round my neck and choked me almost to death
2. fell off horseriding and hit my neck off the concrete winding myself for like 10 mins
3.caravan wheel fell off whilst driving and the car spun out of control
=P

Car accident
Bike accident
Horse accident
Fell down the stairs and hurt badly
Almost drowned once
Poisoned once

and thats about it, I think.
 
This is a rather depressing thread. >.<
I post here once and probably I wouldn't read here again.

Years ago, I was involved in a car crash but fortunately no one died.

Two months ago, I was in a shopping mall sitting on a bench behind a shelf (which I didn't really notice), and on the top of the shelf were heavy boxes containing foldable tables. While, the employees were busily moving the boxes, one box fell and almost hit my spine. Thank god it was a few inches away and therefore it was bruised.

We got paid for the hospital bill and vouchers after that.

when I was 3, I almost got killed by a tornado. Me and my entire family were lucky enough to survive with only minor injuries. (looks like the grim reaper had a day off XD.)
 
Yes. I almost got shot, by a "gangster" mexican.

I hate the ghetto. :/
 
I've been in a car accident.
I've also collapsed and hit my head badly.
I've been pushed out a second story window...
Almost drowned a few times when I was younger too.


...and this really is a depressing thread. :/
