Have you ever given up Pokemon? And if so, did you fail miserably and go back to it?

After Kanto, I kind of just stopped watching the anime, except for the episodes I had on VHS. And then I found out Misty was off the show and boycotted Pokemon. But then... Christmas 2007 my brother got Diamond. I played basically the entire game for him, and now I'm back into it. I haven't watched the anime since the summer, but I hope to catch an episode soon. :3
