Have you ever had your cards stolen?

Lol i know this story by heart i swore to knock him off his bike and many more .... things *evil grin* Well they were actually pokemon cards so i decided to share it anyway

I had my cards stolen a long time ago, i had this super pokemon deck (i was 9) with Walrein and shiftry and mewto ex metagross ex electrabuzz ex metagross and heck more. I was playing football outside and a 16 year old biked past, he saw we had pokemon cards and asked if i wanted to trade. I really wanted to at that time so i agreed, and he asked to see my deck. While he sat down and looked at them, my friend kicked the ball and i kicked back. Before i knew it he was back and gave me my deck, and said "Nah you dont have any cards i need." Then he biked away. I checked over my deck to find out was missing 20 cards. (It wasnt really my deck, more like 1/10th of my collection, about 80 cards. The 20 cards were all my good ones, and turned out that one of my friends had the same card 2 months later. (I recognized it because it had a dent, and i drew something in the corner before it was stolen. Turns out the guy traded them for Yu-Gi-Oh cards, and the other guy sold them and traded them etc.

I WAS PISSED! After that i stopped collecting pokemon cards and a couple of years later gave them all to my cousins. (6 years of collecting)

One time I used some exchange card, and actually kept someone's card for half a tournament, I then drew the card, found the kid, and returned it to him.

On second thought, though, someone did steal my trading cards once. Some guy walked off with my Chaos Emperor Dragon. I tracked him down the next day and he apologized and gave it back. Turned out the whole thing was an accident- he'd used Exchange to put it in his hand while we were dueling during lunch, so he accidentally kept it when he left. XD

I get cards stolen from me everyday. Some good, some not so good. Since they are commons (most of the time) I have many copies of them I really dont mind. I do have to say it is annoying that a greedy brother takes cards you bought w/ your own money.
 
Its never happened to me.

Most of my rare cards are kept in my album and I always hide them in a safe spot just to be sure my little cousins or brother sneak into my room. I do trade some hollows and ultra rares but I'm always checking who's looking at my album because if I'm not to careful they can get stolen...I just don't understand how people can steal yugimans, whenever I pass by the card section on Wallmart the Gorz are all over the place...Cybernetic Revolution FTW!
 
yeah i had a lot of cards stolen. when i used to play yu-gi-oh it sucked because when i wanted a card that i had turn up my friend usually played the same card that i wanted.
i never did realize at the time that my cards were stolen, but now i realize it and now i don't really care case i don't play yu-gi-oh now
 
Sadly, yes. The first was a BEWD, then a BEUD. That was in about a week of eachother.. The next major one was a whole MTG deck, right from under my nose. I literally put my deck box right in front of me, flipped through a few cards (I couldn't see the box), and when I looked down, it was gone. The next one was half of my MTG deck stolen while I was playing, and the kid ran off.

A few not so stolen MTG cards too.. My friends and I used to let each other borrow cards for constructed tournaments. I usually got my cards back, some not, usually to forgetfulness of both parties. I've made up for it by borrowing a full (card that says you auto-win if you have 250+ in your library) deck and not really returning it.. We just sort've fell out of contact with eachother >.>

My brother used to steal my cards, along with people at my old school. =(
Sadly, I dont collect them anymore =(
 
I have never had my card stolen mainly because i was the only person in a french school with an exclusivly english deck

Oh well
 
Horrible topic right now. In 6th grade some n00b stole my trainer cards, and this year someone stole my Gardevoir Lv. X and Salamence EX. Also, my boyfriend's cards got stolen, we know who it is, but we can't beat 'em out of him. He also plays, but he's dirty as heck.
 
no i haven't had my cards stolen, mostly because i keep them at home in a card binder thats buried under a stack of papers, its just a small binder filled with cards i accumulated over the past decade or so
