Have you ever lost touch with an old friend?

My best friends from high school. We made the whole "we'll stay in touch in college! we'll still hang out!" attempt, but here I am two years after high school graduation and I haven't spoken a word to them since aside from "happy birthday" messages on facebook.

It's not a bad thing really, it's not like we had a huge fight, we just happened to all go down vastly different paths for college and made new friends/work/moved so we all kinda drifted.

That happens all the time! It kinda sucks, but there's so many more people out there to meet and befriend that it's almost like destiny that it does..

I lost contact with nearly everyone from my primary school, it did not bother me really because they were not that important to me anyway.

When I transferred schools halfway through 10th grade. I really didn't keep in touch too much with my old friends because I got involved in my new school. I've met a few of them through Facebook but I still don't regularly talk with them.

I seem to lose touch with everyone who was my friend before, often moving is also one of the reason I lost touch with them. For best friend, I feel very sad to lose touch with him, we always talk about the game since we were kids. But, let's just move forward.

My best friend in year 7 left to Switzerland and I've never heard a word from her ever since. :(
