Ages ago, I had an idea bout Pokemon that tried to look like other Pokemon but where still obviously the original Pokemon. Sort of like a Ditto.

I HATE the first one. The mane is pointing forwards while the tail is going the other way. This applies to the second sprite. The third one's mane... Ugh, I can't even explain. Fire doesn't look or "act" like that!

You do a lot of copy'n'pastin, do ya? This applies to all the other fusions.

And about the disguises, I can't seem to think it's actually valid spriting. You copy and paste the parts into the anatomy.

Wow, gee Azumi, negative crit much? You don't really tell him how he can improve, you just sort of bash his work and tell him his sprites are horrible. Think he'll listen to you with that sort of attitide? :/

Now, for your sprites: I'd encourage you to get more familiar with the mechanics of Pokemon sprites: texture shading and fire shading, as well as designs for fakemon. Taking Entei and recoloring it all orange and giving it a fire mane does not warrant an original fakemon; while you CAN make pretty good fakes using mixes, they have to be heavily edited or use parts from many Pokemon, otherwise you'll have people like me complaining to you about how unoriginal your fakes are. Your grass starters are slightly better-- you combine elements of multiple different Pokemon, and keep similar-but-different elements of a reptile head/canine body on every one. While not particularly good, and the mixed parts are kind of choppy, these are much better. :3

Your mixes are definitely your strong point. I like the blue flygon thing and the chicken and the ampharos/porygon2/aerodactyl thing. These could all pass for fakemon, I don't know why you've got them labeled as mixes. The disguises are more like what I'd call mixes, with only two Pokemon and all that. I don't really get what makes them special, but they're not bad... you just need to watch your positioning of other Pokemon parts so they don't look awkward.

Keep spriting, and work on your originality with your fakes, mmk? You've got talent. :3 (also, note that if you want to put them in your hack, they've gotta be 64x64 or less.)

Azumi is right. With the fire starter the original was better. Just work on making the mane flowing back I guess I would say. All of what Azumi said was good so here are my suggestions. On the starters do as I said before and try to make the last evo's fire realistic in motion/position. On the fusions try to blend the pieces and use the same palette for the new pices (like color the wings on Golem his rock shell color). Your devamps are very good in my opinion. Just work on those areas and you'll become much better.

I'll give constructive critism to these for now. :D

'Fire Starter'= I hope this isn't for a game? Why? There is nothing bad about it, but it is just a Eevee recoloured with fire on its head...:\ I would call it a 'Fire Type Eevee' myself but... Though it is a good retyping. ;) However, the tail shading is a bit messed up and it could be a bit more complicated; why don't you give it an actual fire mane? :D

Grass Starters: Again, you can tell where the other Pokemon parts are. I'll start with the first one. The Espeon (Yes, I recognise my favourite Pokemon anywhere. ;)) legs dont seem to fit. Maybe get bulbasaur or edit Grovyle's legs or something. :\ The Psychic type Pokemon legs dont really fit. :( The tail is pretty random as well. Why not have a leaf? :\

The second one is worse, sadly. The shading on it's chest (the really dark bit) is too dark, and towards the top it should be brighter. There are way to many dark outlines, and the sceptile head doesn't really fit with the theme of the sprites (it just seems to copy/pasteish. :\) The bulb on for its tail is also horrible placed. I love the grass thing on its body though. It really matches the theme of the sprite. ;)

Finally, the last one. The Rayquaza head and ear thing is a big no! A dragon type does not fit in with a grass type. i recommend you sprite your own head, in a similar style to the Treeko evos (which is the style of heads you've been using for the past two sprites. There are too many black outlines, the leg closest to the left's anatomy is horrible (it goes quite thick to really skinny to quite thick again. O_o) and the bulb thing on its tail is pretty bad (no offence. :() Try and make it so it blends into each other (the green gradually changes into the bulb colour, instead of just placing it on top of a flat surface. It kinda ruins the Pokemon efect, and looks copy/pasteish.) Again, I like what you did with the grass, and how you placed it. :D Also, they are really good designs and look better than the Eevee, for what they are designed to be (starters) as the Eevee just looks like a retype, not a starter. After you fix these problems, I'm sure they'll look good. They are really good concepts, good job! ;)

Because I can't scratch sprite AT ALL, I've been trying to test them, seeing how people like them, how they work etc.

The reason for the reptilian heads is because they are meant to be lizards but I couldn't find a suitable reptilian body.

The concept of the scratched sprite is good but you didn't add any shading. I know it can be hard to shade but if you try people can help you by telling where to shade or however they will.

:\ The shading is somewhat wrong. They're not in the same light source. I would advise you to reshade the head.

The fire on the head looks copy-pastish. I would recommend to make it more natural, but I don't know how to do it myself... :nervous:

Okay, to start of they are a bit big. :P i would reccomend making them smaller, as generally official sprites aren't that big (maybe with the exception of legendaries, but yours isn't so...:\) On the grass starter, the anatomy is pretty awkward. I'd look at Bulbasaur or Turtwig or a lizard-like Pokemon for example of poses you could use (base sprites on a sprite if you cant make your own poses, don't just copy them. ;))

For the fire starter, the shading is pretty bad. :\ I love the palette you used, though. ;) I'm not to fond of the zig-zag tail though...it just looks like it got twisted. ;\ Painful, even. XD The two legs in the front could also be slightly chunkier. I agree with the lighting comment. Your light sources are all over the place. You have a light sorce behind it, then one infront. Its made the thing look like its stuck in a world with two suns. :/

Oh and btw, how can I make these sprites smaller? Like re posing them so they look smaller.
