header/footers

i am making a forum at proboards and wondered if somone can help me add a header and a footer all there is is a blank text box -_- thnks in advance

The headers and footers on the ProBoards forum system is where you insert HTML code to appear on your forum. Code inserted in the headers will appear on the top of the forum. Footers obivously on the bottom, ideal for affiliate tables, etc.

Yeah. Basically, just put a banner and some welcome text, maybe some forum links.

ya but i dont know how to put the banner up thats what i needed help with all i can do with html is add links =P

Replace the "URL of IMAGE" with the URL of your image and change the width and height values to the same attributes as the image in the URL. Change the alt tag to a short description of the image. It's what shows up when you drag your cursor over the image for a second or two.

Well, for starters, the URL of the image doesn't exist...

Try using that - it works for me. The problem with the link you had there were the spaces and the fact that I believe you were linking to a page script rather than the actual image or something. o_o
