[Blue Screen of Death]

The Valley of storms, the Crags of Kalmet, the Great Geyser fields. These are all part of Verdanis, a planet not far from our own. In the year 2029 the first human landed here. In 2050, the first base was set up. In 2055, the first colony flourished. Then our scientists on Verdanis noticed a change in the atmosphere. This change would change the very face of the planet. The atmosphere was changing, creating oxygen. Knowing that the planet was barren, the first experiment on this change was conducted by planting an apple tree in a blank field. This test proved successful. Sadly though, Humans and Pokemon still could not live outside of the protective domes. As the years passed however, a terraforming project emerged. This project worked with nearly no flaws, giving humans and Pokemon a new world.

Then, in the year 3000, the dawn of a new millennium, with Verdanis finally open to humans and Pokemon without the need for protective domes, a great catastrophe happened. Volcanoes all over Verdanis began to act up, and erupt without warning. But that was not all. All of the flowing magma caused tremors underground. These tremors grew as they came closer to the surface, eventually turning into earthquakes as high as seven on the Richter scale. An immediate evacuation was called for all humans. But in their ignorance, they forgot the Pokemon, perhaps planning to come back for them.

So they waited.

And waited.

And waited some more.

15 years passed, and there was still no sign that the humans would come back. So the Pokemon tried to settle into this hostile environment, knowing they would have to live there for the rest of their lives. Or so they thought. The next year, a large, round object was spotted heading for Verdanis. Fearing it was an asteroid, the Pokemon huddled in terror, watching what they thought to be their demise grow ever closer. But when it passed through the planets atmosphere, it did not shrink, it simply slowed down. It did not strike with incredible force, but instead it landed softly, without a problem. As the strongest of the Pokemon approached the space rock, a hatch opened in the side. Out of this hatch came many a pink Pokemon, otherwise known as Clefairy, Clefable, or Cleffa.

Then one of the Clefabe spoke "Citizens of Verdanis, we have come to bring from here. Our race has watched in awe as you sculpted this planet to your liking. But then volcanoes erupted, and earthquakes sook your land. We have come with an offer. We offer you a chance to leave Verdanis, but not a single one of you can stay. If there is even one, who for some reason will not go, then all of you will stay."

Every Pokemon watching jumped and shouted in joy, until one by one, they realized that there where Pokemon who wanted to stay.

The lava gang.

The lava gang was an extremely large group of fire and ground type Pokemon, who had no trouble living in the environment of Verdanis. They were the most territorial of all Pokemon, and they refused to leave their land. Any Pokemon who trespassed on their territory would be killed immediately.

That is where you come in. You must invade The Valley of Storms, the Crags of Kalmet, The Great geyser plains, Shaking fields, and the Lava plateau. In doing this, you must either convince Pokemon to come with the Clefairy, or kill them. Most will come willingly, but the stronger ones will tend to fight back. You have one more year to do this, that is when the Clafairy mother ship will arrive to take the Pokemon off of Verdanis.To heal your wavering pokemon population, you must destroy part of it. But hey, sometimes you have to cut off a leg to save the body. It's healing destruction, and it must be done.

Personality: Cool, calm and collected, Tuliae thinks of what to do before every action and doesn't take many risks unless it's super important. She has an impossibly brilliant strategic mind and plans every move she makes perfectly but occasionally, she makes a mistake. Her determination to finish a task once she has started it is amazing and her willpower is crushing. Whenever trouble arises, she prefers to work it out without any physical fighting of a sort.

Appearance: Tuliae may have the same body form as most absols but her colour is what makes her different, she has the colour scheme as strangely, a shiny ninetales. therefore, her fur would be whitish-purple, face, claws, tail and the scythe like object on the side of her head would be bluish sort-of. The circle on her forehead has also disappeared.

History: Tuliae was pretty young when the humans had transported her to Verdanis. She clung to her family when the volcanoes erupted, but sooner, as the barren land overcame them, one by one, they started to die, starved to death or died fighting for it. Her family had discussed simply abandoning her as she was different to other absols and that she was too young and of no use to the family. After hearing this, Tuliae was determined to be of use and learned to hunt and fight expertly. Then like that, their line decided to wait. After 10 years of waiting, her entire family line had died out and she was the remainder.

She spent 5 years surviving on the deserted landscape, fighting and scavenging anything usable. The Clefable, clefairy and cleffa then came, determined to leave her past behind and try to make a new future, she set out to encourage the pokemon to leave and if they refused, to exterminate immediately.

Personality: She's friendly to you if your friendly to her

Appearance: She is different from other Turtwigs due to her shell color being black instead of brown

History: She was born in a forest along with many other Turtwigs, but everybody shunned her because of her shell color. The other Turtwigs thought that black was darkness and darkness meant evil so they thought Allison was evil. After being an outcast for many years she fled from the forest in search of a new home and new friends up untill now.

Name: Gareth.

Pokemon choice: Heracross

Personality: Gareth, or Gary, as he prefers to be known, is normally inclined to turn to violence whenever it is necessary and sometimes when it isn't. This behaviour sets him apart from the other Heracross, who are mainly peaceful and docile creatures. As such,he has become something of a loner, mainly staying at home and learning how to fight from his brother. Gary also likes to show off around the opposite sex, acting macho and tough. Unsurprisingly, this rarely works. However, his most notable personality feature is his childishness - whenever he is insulted he will either make what he thinks is a witty come-back, or storm off in a sulk. This trait has pushed him even further away from those who would otherwise be his friends.

Appearance: Gary looks more or less like other Heracross do - an over-sized beetle with a blue exolskeleton, small yellow eyes, short, muscular limbs and a rather large horn on his forehead. However, he is slightly larger than normal Heracross at one metre sixty. He also has a slightly shorter, yet much more pointed horn,with the two flanges on the end pointing back towards his body and giving his horn the appearance of a spear. Gary has slighty larger claws than normal as well, which are often chipped from his regular training. Most unusually, though, he has two claws on each foot which, though often regarded as strange or unatural, actually gives him better footwork skills than other Heracross.

History: Gary originally belonged to a trainer, called Simon. His mother was a member of Simon's team and after mating with a wild Heracross, had Gary and his brother, Joel. Unfortunately, there was an accident soon after they hatched. When attacked by a wild Staravia, Joel was badly hurt and had both of his legs broken. Gary had originally expected him to be distraught that he could not battle, but Joel merely remarked that the quiet life had always suited him. Joel was, however, still able to live a quasi-normal life - thanks to his sturdy arms, he would spend most of his time hanging from a tree with his face buried in the bark. However, once the Clefable made its dramtic proclamation, he turned to Gary. Being the older brother, he took it upon himself to teach him what he had learned of battling before Simon had abandoned them. Gary now spars with his mother regularly, as his brother is incapable of doing this. Though Gary and his mother share a distant relationship, she quietly approves of what he has taken upon himself to do. As for how this occured - with his lust for adventure, Gary decided that he would have to convince, or destroy, whoever opposed their escape. And if he got the time, he might just give those weird aliens a smack for being so obstinate...

Personality: Quiet (most of the time), calm-natured (Also most of the time), protective, caring. Midnight's definitely the type who would hold a grudge though.

Appearance: He looks basically like any other Umbreon, except, his rings glow a dark red instead of yellow, and he has a small scar under his left eye.

History: Before deciding to help, Midnight was a simple Umbreon who kept secluded from others. He watched over his underlings and kept them protected. His decision to help was based solely on his need/want to protect those around him.

Name: Arca Saph

Age: 16

Pokemon choice: Mamoswine

Personality: Arca Saph was very shy as a Swinub and Piloswine, but as a Mamoswine made it a point to be tough and mean. Though his thick outer cover as a tough, mean Pokemon, inside he is really loving, caring and sweet.

Appearance: Arca Saph was a normal looking Swinub, with his small brown body and black stripes. When Arca Saph evolved into a Piloswine, his tusks were slightly larger. When Arca Saph evolved into a Mamoswine, the normaly blue eyes were instead gray. As a Mamoswine his tusks are even larger than the normal size.

History: Arca Saph grew up a member of the Lava Gang. He was taught to be vicious to any intruders. His parents were high up in the gang, being great commanders. Arca Saph was going to have to live up to his parents, but he knew it would be tough. When he was a Swinub, he was weak, earning a very low spot on the strength scale. When evolving into a Piloswine, he got more attention, but the attention slowly got smaller as people learned of his weak fighting skills. As a Piloswine, he was even threatened to be kicked out. When he evolved into his final stage, Mamoswine, he made a point to be stronger and tougher, even though his councious said it was wrong.

Pokemon choice:Pidgeot

Personality: Sal has that sarcastic attitude that catches your attention. He is always up for a good laugh but at the same time usually can keep at least a decent amount of seriousness. He is also easily embarassed and shy around people he doesnt know. All the same he is a generally good person.

Appearance: Sal has no very noticeable differences from your ordinary Pidgeot. His red feathers are a brighter shade.

History: Sal grew up as a Pidgey on an Island south of Kanto. As he grew up he quickly built his wing strength. While he was unpopular he evolved pretty quickly(Not the fastest but pretty fast.) His wingspan was enormous compared to other pidgeotto and he continued to excel. He was still not exactly well known but he had a good group of friends. One day he was caught by a professor and taken to a lab in which he was registered. He eventually evolved into his final form when he was sent to go on a space trip.

Pokemon choice: Masquerain

Personality: Gale is a very brilliant Masquerain. As a Surskit, she was a bit hasty and liked to get things done HER way. As her maturity grew, so did her intelligence, and when she evolved, she became smarter than she ever thought she could be. Nevertheless, Gale is quiet and shy, and spends any free time by herself. She may attempt to play tricks on others with her looks, but she only does this a seldom amount of times.

Appearance: In most cases, Gale is like any other Masquerain. She has a blue body with a bit of red, and she has orange and red wings. The design on her wings seem to resemble eyespots, while the red on her body seems to resemble a mouth, thus sometimes scaring those around her. The only difference she has than other Masquerain is a ruby-red scar in the shape of an "x" above the red part of her body.

History: Gale always wanted to see the world as it was. Although as a Surskit, she really couldn't travel far, so she chose to train day and night until she evolved. Once she did evolve, she had to focus on controlling her newfound flying abilities. It took a couple of days practicing, but Gale soon got it down. Unfortunately, she learned about the Pokemon that needed to get off Verdanis. Seeing how they were probably in need of someone to help, Gale set aside her own goal to go and help them out of the goodwill of her heart.

Well heres my sign up.

Name: Cage

Pokemon Choice: Grovile

Gender: male

Appearance: Cage looks the same as any other Grovile apart from that he has a strange group of scars on his body

Personality: Cage likes to keep things to himself in other words a loner and he can get angry very quickly.
Cage isint what you would call friendship material its very hard to get Cage to trust anybody sometimes he cant even trust himself.

History: You might be wondering why well you see Cage holds the scars of many battles.
Cage's parents where captured by team rocket just before Cage was born they where locked up in a cage and where tested on by team rockets evil scientists.
Then Cage was born in the cage........
Cage's parents had been injected with everything you could think of and even Cage could see that they didnt have long left and once they where gone Cage was going to be next......
Cage was determined to escape with his parents before they died and that is just what they did.
The family where out of the cage and running for there lives they made it out of the facility but.........BANG.........the rockets had shot Cage's parents they died in his arms.
Team rocket where about to do the same to Cage but when he turned around something powerful happened.
Cage let out a vicious leaf storm with all his anger and fury instantly killing the rockets and destroying team rockets base and thats just the start of it.
Ever since then Cage began to hate humans and refusing to trust them scaring off any trainers who dared try to capture him.
The fact that Cage ended up on Verdanis was a complete mistake.
You see he was just having a nap inside the cargo hold when the ship set off to the new world.
Although i have to admit Cage did enjoy staying on Verdanis but then the humans left.
With that Cage stated that he hated humans and that they care about nothing but themselves.
But the lava gang heard what Cage was saying and they where impressed and they offered him a place in there gang Cage refused.
The lava gang got angry and attacked Cage with flamethrower attacks Cage remembered seeing his parents dying in his arms and thats all he needed.
Cage let out a devastating leaf storm knocking the lava gang out but then Cage started to glow cage had evolved into grovile.
But then everything changed when a group of pokemon came to visit Verdanis.......

Personality:
Scar is very calm,despite his appearence. When he is around other pokemon,he tries to hold back the memories of his friends. He will ignore certain people until he figures out if they are going to be good pokemon to hang out with. When in battle,he gets furious,and sometimes loses due to his "Dont think just attack" strategy in some battles.

Appearance: (Im going to use a picture and a description because its easier)

Scar has a large,X-shaped scar on his eye. Where most Umbreons have yellow round circles on them,he has blue spikes and diamonds. The bone-like pieces on his back,paws,and neck look like those found on a houndoom. due to this look,people assume his mother was an Umbreon and his father was a Houndoom. He has bright red eyes that cause people to get scared when they glare at him most of the time,but not all people fall for this trick in battle.

History: Scar was born in a small cave as an Eevee. when he was born,he had a slightly bluish tint to his fur coloring. His parents named him Diamond due to this. When he was older,the blue color began getting darker,and he gained some black to his fur color also. His parents were concerned,so they decided to wait until it got worse to bring him to Chansey and Blissey. When he was about 8,his parents went for a walk with him and nicknamed him Scar. On the way back to the cave,a pack of hungry,raging Arcanine killed his parents. He was then raised by a pack of houndoom,who taught him everything about survival. When he turned 9,he forgot about his parents and evolved. Due to being with a Houndoom pack so long,he looked like both an Umbreon and a Houndoom. He then turned 10,and was old enough to leave the pack. He then moved to Verdanis,and decided to help move all of the pokemon off of it. He decided this after turning 11 because of all of the unique pokemon there,and thought he would finally make some friends.

Name: Pyra

Age: 200 (they can live for 1000 years)

Gender: female

Pokemon choice: Ninetails (Look under history. If it doesn't suffice, I will edit it or change Pokemon.)

Personality: Pyra is very calm and collected, more so than many Fire Pokemon mainly because of her age. She tends to enjoy the company of water Pokemon (unless they get her wet) more so than the hot-headed lava gang. She is incredibly intelligent, even among Ninetails, and is constantly calculating other's actions and expressions, which allows her to know exactly what they are thinking. Some Pokemon think that she reads their minds. She is a very loyal Pokemon and will care for anyone she feels connected to, but quickly judges anyone she thinks is suspicious or threatens one of her friends. She puts the good of others over her own wants.

Appearance: Pyra looks like any other Ninetails except for the flecks of blue invading the red of her eyes and the black star between her eyes.

History: Pyra has always taken care of the young Pokemon on the planet. She mainly helped the Pokemon whose types did not agree with the planet get through their challenges because the Fire and Ground Pokemon were already being taken in by the lava gang. When the lava gang looked to recruit her, Pyra declined, not wanting to get involved with their childish affairs (and since Pyra is 200 years old, all affairs seem childish). When the Clefairy came, Pyra knew that if all the Water, Ice etc. Type Pokemon that she had raised were to survive, they needed to leave. Pyra decided to do all she could to bring down the lava gang and save the rest of the Pokemon.

 

[Slave to the Poké-Rave]

Name: Rek

Age: 14

Gender: Male

Pokemon choice: Charmeleon

Personality: Rek is rather a loner. He dislikes other pokemon as he will quickly find a way which they annoy them, and he is very hot-headed and vicious, getting into fights over small matters. Not one to talk, though if he must he will band with others for a short time if their goals are similar to his.

Appearance: Rek is the same as any normal charmeleon except he is slightly larger, and his claws are longer. He also has several scars on his arms and back.

History: Rek was born to a pair of tame charizards. They both became members of the lava gang shortly before his birth, and whilst general members, they did not agree with the practices. They were thrown out after being beaten by the other members for publicly denouncing the leader of their small group as cruel. That leader just so happened to be a rather sadistic Infernape who decided to hunt his parents for sport. Needless to say, they were eventually killed after being trapped in a gorge and buried in rubble. Rek, only a young Charmander, escaped after being hidden in a cave from the lava gang. He wandered for a long time, barely surviving until he reached a place filled with lots of pokemon. Though he never fitted in for ebing a fire type, he managed to live peacefully. But his mind is scarred by his parents deaths and the landscape forever reminds him of it. Thus the reason why he is helping the other to leave, so he can ease his wounded soul.

Diamond was sitting on a rock,his tail swishing back and forth like a cat's. He stared at the sun uneasily. "How are we going to get the Lava Gang out of here?" he thought. Diamond sighed. The blue diamond on his forehead glowed brightly in the sunlight. A few Lava Gang pokemon looked at him on their way by. "What you looking at?" Diamond said after casting a quick glance at the pokemon. They instantly walked away after seeing the scar on his left eye. He rubbed the scar with his paw and scratched his ear. He heard a small bang noise,but ignored it. Diamond looked around for a minute,jumped off the rock,and layed down with his ears still alert.

"Take a free shot at me." Gary, slightly suspicious, jabbed forwards with his horn, leaping forwards into the attack. But his mother knew what she was doing. Grabbing the sides of his horn, she used his own momentum to flip him right over her head and smash him down on the ground.
"That is Counter" she smiled as Gary gasped for breath. He flipped back to his feet and grinned sourly.
"You know, I'd better get going. But thanks for showing me counter first, mum." His mother smiled and rubbed her horn against his, the traditional way for two Heracross to say goodbye. Then, he spun around and marched proudly off towards his first destination - The Valley of Storms. He had no idea what would await him there, but he would definitely not be unprepared. He was thinking that right up until something very hard hit him in the back, knocking him straight over.
"Well, well, well," a voice sneered, "What have we got here? Because to me, it looks a little like a trespasser "

Gary gulped in fear.

The Valley of Storms. At long last, I have arrived, Gale thought, peering at the magnificent view. Even though this wasn't her idea of traveling the world, at least she got to go out to such a place anyways. As her wings rapidly flapped up and down, she moved above some of the Lava Gang. They seemed to be laughing about something, but she wasn't sure what. Closing in so she could listen, Gale could hear them talking about "their greatness" and how they were going to forever stay on this planet. Such childish minds, Gale thought. How they can be so...brainless, I don't even know! She continued following them, still unseen, to wherever it was they were headed.

Gale seemed to end up in a small gulch just near where she was supposedly supposed to go. Looking around, she took the time to become aware of her surroundings. It'd be better if they don't see me, she thought. At once, a bigger Fire-type trotted over to the three she had been following.

"Ay, mates, did you know you have a trespasser?" Upon hearing the big Pokemon speak, Gale immediately hid by the closest rock. Thank Arceus she was so small! The three Pokemon seemed to shake their heads, and the bigger one looked around, wondering where Gale had gone to. Gale had to laugh at this; she saw the big Pokemon looking at her as she hid, and it was as if he had forgotten already! Were all members of the Lava Gang like this? Gale spun around to see if there were any gaps she could enter, but no such luck. Should I try and get around these monstrosities, or should I wait until night? she pondered, carefully placing herself in a stationary position.

(Just out of curiosity, are any Egg Moves allowed? And if so, is there a limit to their power? I'm only wondering because Surskit can learn Hydro Pump via an Egg Move.)

 

[Pidove Flying]

Diamond's ear twitched. He lifted up his head slightly and saw three Lava Gang members,until another one came along. He listened as close as possible. "Ay, mates, did you know you have a trespasser?" one of the big pokemon said. Trespasser? Must be on my side... Diamond thought. Another Lava Gang pokemon came. "I found pawprints in the dirt over there. It looks like a Houndoom print,but I think its an Umbreon print." The newer pokemon said. After getting a look at its face,he saw it was a Growlithe that found his prints. Again,nobody knows what I am... good. Diamond thought. After that,Diamond curled up into more of a ball and made himself look like a rock.
