Healing destruction.

The sun was blazing so hard across the plain Tuliae was sure she was blood red by then. Tuliae was heading for the Crags of Kalmet, seeing if she could change the minds of any of the lava gang there. She flicked her tail, the heat was unbearable. It was stifling hot, she was sure a fire type pokemon was likely to come out sooner or later.

For a dark type I must be enduring the sun well, Tuliae thought. Barren plains were all she could see so far and absolutely no sign of any life at all. A few plants lingered here and there, a slight breeze drifted back and fourth.

Footsteps then suddenly sounded behind Tuliae, "hmm, what have we got here? A tasty morsel, perhaps?" She turned around to face the perpetrator. A rather grosteque looking Magmar puffed smoke out at her as she readied into fighting stance. The magmar grinned viciously, this was not going to be a good ending for one of them...
 
Diamond lifted up his head a little again. The Lava Gang pokemon were still there,and they were making comments like "What is it? A Houndoom or an Umbreon print?". While they were distracted,Diamond got up and ran inside a small cave hidden in the dirt. From the entrance,Diamond spotted a Magmar and an Absol. The two seemed to be engaged in combat,but Diamond wasnt sure. He ran out of the cave and ran towards a rock near the two. Suddenly,the heat in the area began to rise. Diamond dealed with it and sat to watch the two.

Tuliae's nose twitched, the scent of another pokemon seemed to be in the area, it was either a houndoom or an umbreon by the looks of it. Or both. "hey you! aren't 'cha gonna do anything! given up hav' ya! hehe..." She flicked her tail, whatever it was, it was going to have to wait till she dealt with this horrendous beast.

Normally, when Tuliae fought, she either did it the easy way and simply put the pokemon to rest or she decided to play with it and torture the soul. The latter was only used if she was really angry or really annoyed. "oh I haven't given up, but what would you gain from killing me?" she questioned. The magmar grinned savagely, "a nice meal is what I would get! now enough talk..." The magmar began to walk across the plain in a slightly circle. She followed it's movements very closely, even though magmar weren't very fast, it wouldn't do to underestimate her opponent. "are you sure you wouldn't like to join the rest of the pokemon leaving?" she asked, stalling for time, why? she wasn't quite sure. The presence of the Umbreon-houndoom was quite unsettling though. "no no no no no, kehehe, why would I leave when my home is here," it cackled, having stopped moving. "but you'll soon leave to visit Arceus!" The magmar unleashed a heat boiling flamethrower straight at her face. Tuliae jumped as high as she could possibly go.

When dealing with a opponent that is likely to weigh a serious amount more than you, it's good to blind their vision, and that's exactly what Tuliae did. She used haze, covering the surrounding area with a cold and misty fog. Being used to cold conditions, she could detect exactly where the shivering lump of fire was. Also, a shape seemed to be hiding behind a rock near where they where fighting. She pushed that to the back of her mind and made her way stealthily towards the magmar.

"I suggest you don't under estimate your elders!" came a thundering voice through the fog and Tuliae was thumped hard and sent flying to hit a boulder. The mist was clearing slowly and she could see that the magmar had scored with perfect accuracy a fire punch embedded straight at her face. She stood up shakily, 'no way was she going to lose so early in her journey' Opening her mouth, she launched a shadow ball right at the magmar, pushing it into a rock. Leaping up, she decided right now that going all out was probably the best solution for this battle. Launching another shadow ball, she leapt onto the highest rock there and launched the most powerful hyper beam she could. "why you little-Aaaaarrrrgggghhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" the magmar sentence was cut short as a bright light enveloped it and the magmar was incinerated. A pile of smothered ash was lying on the ground.

Tuliae flopped down onto the rock, panting hard, below her, she could see that the shadow behind the rock had still not moved, but that was what she thought. "you can come out now, I sensed you earlier after all"
 
Diamond nodded. obviously he couldnt hide any longer. He walked up to the pokemon. "Nice battle you had." Diamond said. I cant tell this pokemon my real name yet... ill use the name Scar... Diamond thought. "The name is Scar." he said,obviously not giving much detail. Scar tried to hide the scar on his eye,but obviously failed. The scar was on the side that the Absol was on. The blue marks on his body glowed. He sat next to the absol and used Moonlight,hoping it would heal the pokemon.

Gary scrambled to his feet and looked around. Standing in front of him was a Graveller.
"Errrr...well, I'm here to talk to everyone about the clefairy's proposition-" he started but the graveller just snorted and interuppted,
"So you're one of them converters are you, you lot going round trying to make us leave our home. Well, we won't I tell you! Now, get out of here!" But Gary didn't move.
"Didn't you hear me?" The rocky pokemon shouted, "MOVE!" He drew back his fist and lashed out at Gary, but he simply caught the punchand, with a tremendous effort, flipped Graveler over onto its back. Unfortunately, it simply clambered back to its feet and pounded the ground, hard. As the earth began to shake, Gary took to the air moments before a large fissure opened beneath his feet. Graveler had tried to kill him. Focusing his mind, Gary formed a blue ball of energy between his hands, then hurled it at his foe, who barely had time to blink before the Focus Blast vapourised his eyeballs and blasted his face into a million tiny pieces

Tuliae snorted silently, "Scar, is it? doesn't suit you much" She flicked her tail, "I'm Tuliae. Also, one thing, does moonlight actually work when the sun is out?" she ponderingly asked. The Umbreon was black coloured, as most, but had blue zig-zags across the ears and diamonds where the usual circles were. Bands on the feet, neck and back seemed to represnt a houndoom. "do you come from both an umbreon and houndoom? or are you not going to say?" she asked, lifting her head towards the sky, the wind was blowing harder, considering weather changed very fast in the area, she could sense it was going to rain very, very, soon.

"Actually,Moonlight is a strange move itself...it works in the morning if used by a strong enough dark type. Also,everybody thinks I came from a Houndoom and an Umbreon,but my parents were Umbreons. I was just raised by Houndooms." Scar said. The area around Tuliae and Scar began to darken. "Good,Moonlight is taking effect." Scar said. "So,you trying to get the Lava Gang out of here too?" He asked. Something was obviously up with Tuliae. It was like she could sense something coming.

Feeling that it was safe for her to come out, Gale quietly took a peek at the current activity. She had heard something about another Pokemon, perhaps a renegade like her, come into the area. But she wasn't exactly sure. Silently flying through the sky, Gale noticed two Pokemon, neither of the Fire or Ground type as she believed, but decided to keep on the down-low. After all, they could be traitors, just waiting for someone supposedly on their side to come along. Then, without warning, they'd capture the enemy and perhaps obliterate them. Gale shuddered at the thought.

"Ay, come out come out, intruder!" the Camerupt called. Gale knew it was referring to her, and quickly flitted into a gap in a cliff. The Camerupt walked passed, big as always, but Gale kept still. After all, she was mastering the stealth technique, so of course she needed to stay stealthy. Her size and speed helped too, but those alone wouldn't get the job entirely done...

OOC: well then here we go again, but I have a funny feeling we'll be the only two posting >.<

Tuliae watched as the sky darkened rapidly as moonlight took effect, "hmm, I didn't know it still worked in the day" she pondered, "shows how much I know about my own group type" In the distance, just beyond the effect of moonlight, dark clouds began rolling in, signalling the signs of a thunderstorm. Soon, the lava gang pokemon would retreat back into their caves, away from the rain they hated so much. This was the perfect time to invade their head quarters, if they had one, and defeat the leader, once again, if they had one.

"so, you trying to get the lava gang out of here too?" Scar asked. Tuliae shifted slightly as the moonlight ended, sealing up her wound. "yes, I have a plan but it has many risks" she replied, "want to try it out?"
 
Moonlight took effect and the wound had completely dissapeared. "Looks like we are on the same page then. Also, a risky plan huh? Im in." Scar said. Tuliae seemed confidant. "So, whats the plan?" Scar asked. Just as Scar was about to add another question, a Blastoise stepped up from the shore. "DID YOU CAUSE THIS STORM?" it asked angrily. "No! We didnt cause the storm!" Scar yelled back. "LIAR! YOU WILL PAY!" the Blastoise yelled again. It launched a strong Hydro Pump at Scar, who didnt have enough time to dodge it. Scar was thrown back against a rock. He got up quickly, and sent a giant ball of darkness straight at the Blastoise's skull. It hit, and Blastoise fell on his shell. It couldnt get up. Scar then used Quick Attack to gain speed, and then used Headbutt. This knocked Blastoise back into the water. Scar growled. He snapped himself out of it and went back to Tuliae. "Anyways, whats your plan?" Scar asked as if nothing had happened.

Tuliae watched as Scar finished off the blastoise and returned, acting as if nothing had happened. "well, considering the blastoise there didn't like the storm very much, I say we ought to infiltrate the lava gangs hide out, after all, I don't suppose they'll enjoy the rain and lighting much either"

She stood up awkwardly, testing out her legs to make sure there were no scratches or bruises that would bother her. "the lava gang caves are, as I have recieved from a nearby resource, a largely built maze of tunnels and chambers, larger ones for the more powerful ones and smaller for the weaker" she explained, "the largest chamber in the facility-if you could call it that-houses the most powerful pokemon they have currently. If we could defeat that pokemon, by premature instinct, the otehr pokemon will either listen to us and go aboard the clefairy ship or back track and try to destroy us in their attempts to win the high...well throne"

The rain was getting denser and heavier as she stood up to enter the caves, still talking, "therefore, either way, we will have a good result as if they listen, we continue on to the next lava gang quarters, and they will wipe eachother out and leave only one pokemon for us to deal with if they don't listen"

OOC- Scince I started being a wierdo.

"Good plan, but my idea is that we try to sneak by everybody and save our energy for the boss." Scar said. He followed Tuliae. "You know, my real name isnt actually Scar, I just told you that so I could make sure you werent on the Lava Gang's side. My real name is Diamond." Diamond said, reavealing his real name to Tuliae. "Also, I learned some techniques from my Grandfather when I was really little. He said something about me needing these techniques some day and that he wanted me to pass them sown to other dark types. Two of the first techniques I learned were called "Shadow-Walking" and "Open Mind". After that he taught me two others, "Skill-Hunting" and "Moving Circles". He said there are three more, but he didnt know those and told me to figure them out. The next day he died." Diamond said. "But I know those four skills." Diamond added. After that he stood in the entrence of the cave and waited for an answer.

"Diamond is your real name? maybe I should invest and say my name's Tulip" Tuliae chuckled. She nodded along as Diamond spoke his opinions and following as Diamond walked up to the cave entrance, the rain still pouring above them. "special dark type techniques, eh? I would like to try those out, could be useful," she replied, murmuring the last bit. "well then, let's go"

The cave entrance was dripping with dewdrops as they entered, several tunnels to choose from up ahead. "left, center or right?" she asked.
 
"Let me check with Skill-Hunting." Diamond replied. Ok Diamond, remember how grandpa showed you...

""Skill-Hunting begins with breathing, So first of all, you must learn to breathe. Count your breaths. In, out, in, out. You see? You breathe fast and shallow, like most dark types. Breathe more deeply. Yes. Use the whole of your lungs. Now count. In-two-three-four, out-two-three-four..." Diamond thought.

Ok... In-two-three-four, out-two-three-four... In-two-three-four, out-two-three-four... Diamond thought. Suddenly Diamond opened his eyes wider. He could hear everything it the cave. There was a gaurd inside of the center tunnel and the left tunnel. The right tunnel was safe and lead to some more tunnels. "Right tunnel." Diamond said. "If we take the other two its a dead end. Only leads to a gaurd and an empty wall." Diamond added. Tuliae definately needed to learn these skills. It felt like forever scince Diamond had usel one of them. Diamond started to go towards the right tunnel and stopped in front of it. "You coming?" Diamond asked.

Tuliae nodded and followed Diamond towards the right tunnel, no doubt Diamond had been right using his own techniques, though since there was no wind blowing in the cave, she could not confirm what he had sensed. They came upon another row of tunnels, here, a slight breeze was blowing in and out of the tunnels, therefore not rendering Tuliae entirely useless. She sniffed the air, the left tunnel had an empty chamber at the end, it's occupants somewhere else. The right chamber had a family of mamoswine, piloswine and swinub inside, a dangerous place to go into. the center tunnel also led to a chamber, but she could sense that there was another route inside that chamber. "center tunnel, diamond. You can bet on me for this one"
