Its more or less the old gist with how red took down Giovanni 3 years ago and how the crestfallen came to Johto.

That art is awesome! But, you know what I'd like? Music samples. Imagine what the remix of stuff like the Kimono Dance Studio would sound like... This is me, hardly able to wait. ^^

And, Giovanni never did actually appear in GSC, but I could see him having a story role in this iteration.
 
I think the Marill that stands next to the girl in one of the pics is kind of a hint/proof that we will be able to have one pokémon walking behind you ;o

EDIT: Yup, I used google translate for the page and it says your pokémon (every one) will be able to walk behind you. It kinda works like with pikachu in pokémon yellow.

And you can catch both lugia and ho-oh in each game. Eg in Heart Gold you catch ho-oh first and after the pokémon league you can catch lugia.

Also the new girl sprite is better than I expected. Good job Nintendo and Game Freak.

Maybe its possible to catch Teddiursa in HG where you could catch phanphy in crystal?

Your first part of the post was stating the quite obvious. And yes that is the new pokedex interface.

It is true that Giovanni never did play a part in the original GSC. This is because he has abandoned Team Rocket three years ago after their failure in Kanto. However, it is possible to bring back Giovanni for some kind of twist once more in Kanto, but we'll see what they do. However, the official site does say something about Giovanni and his defeat be Red three years ago in Kanto. It is basically a reference to how Team Rocket moved into Johto like we see now.

We did have a few samples of the music. It was found in the Pokémon Sunday show, however it was hard to hear as the actors on the show were a little too loud. Nevertheless, it seems to be coming along nicely [music and game plot wise].

It has been stated before that even though we see some later Pokémon found earlier in the game, it could possibly be because they do not want to reveal the later locations of the game. However, it wouldn't surprise me if they did a few tweaks in Pokémon encounters every few routes perhaps. It was done in Crystal and Platinum, so I guess we could expect a little change now in the remakes as well. As for Teddiursa replacing Phanpy, who knows, but I'd rather they not allow stronger Pokémon too early as it'll basically make the early part of the game a bit too easy.

Yes, in Crystal we could find Teddiursa in the Dark Cave, and it was rare as you stated. However, for Gold it was unavailable and could only be obtained through trading with Silver. As for Silver, Teddiursa was found on Route 45, and it was just a tad difficult to find because it wasn't as common. Now, we may be able to catch Teddirusa early once more, but that is if they go with Crystal's foundation on where Pokémon appeared rather than how it was in the original Gold and Silver, but we'll see. They could also change it up a bit to follow something new as well. This could be a reason why we see some Pokémon earlier in the scans, so it is a good fact you pointed out.
 
Every photo is great, once the american site opens i'd love to be on that site.

I think the game should go more with a "Crystal-Like" gamefeaturethingy with a bunch of crystal features.

Also, the girl sprite looks quite cool. Not as cool as Kris.

I especially love the map, and the image of ecruteak.
I'm just kinda worried.. Although the Bullet train track appears to be in the map..
There's always the small possibility we won't be able to go to kanto..
Since the player could always just use the gate you use to get to the pokémon league to get to mount silver.
I hope to god they include kanto, though.

:/ What is your definition of official XD We haven't gotten any evidence other than some images that show routes that connect Kanto and Johto, which just says that Kanto exists (which we all know it exists) but that doesn't confirm that we can go there in-game :/

Well I was on Bulbapedia a few days ago and it said that Kanto had been officially confirmed...

Yeah, I saw that... but from all the scans I've seen there has been nothing [text-wise] that remotely confirms that Kanto is playable :/ They need to fire their translators :P (they got that from Pkmn.net, so I guess I mean them lol :P )

Yeah I guess you're right.. It probably would need to be in text first from like Coro Coro or from the HG/SS website.

Yeah, it was kind of fishy from the start, because they didn't even specify where, they just said that their translators were looking over one of the scans, and determined that it said that Kanto was available :/ If anyone knows more information about that I would love to know, because maybe, just maybe they saw something I overlooked :P They said they got it from a CoroCoro scan, and the only one that mentions Kanto really is the 2 page one with character bios :/ I wonder where they think they saw this information XP
