HeartGold/SoulSilver - Travel Journal

I got my pokemon up to 80's now. One of them is 75 the other two are in the 47 and 34.
 
Hmm. I managed to crawl up to Cianwood (Of course haven't beaten Jasmine nor Chuck; I have 4 badges.)

i started with chikorita and got a sentrit (Tainers) and a Flaffy (Zappy) the 1st and 2nd gyms were a pain with chikorita and now 'bout to do 3rd gym

- Beat Claire, SRing for male Dratini from the dragon guys..can it even be male? I keep getting females. Gah, I just gave up. Got 29 female ones in a row. :|

Just picked up the game in the first time since MAY. Surprisingly, I didn't restart and have suddenly remembered why I left in the first place.

My team is totally insuperior :/ Togetic and Azumarill are just weak. Jynx is too slow, Hitmonlee is too inaccurate and Magmar and Electabuzz can't hold the fort alone. Took me four tries to successfully defeat Clair, and that was a pure fluke of around three critical hits. Can't even get past the fourth Kimono Girl. Thinking I should restart!

You should. :x Unless you have the ability to evolve Magmar, Togetic, and Electabuzz before the National Dex.

- Beat the Komono Girls, Jolteon nearly haxed me to death.
- Went through Bell Tower.
- In battle with Ho-oh and am using heavy balls. :P It's in the red. :D
 
I've just managed to defeat the second gym leader, Bugsy. The battle was certainly entertaining due to Scyther proving it's immense strength and speed, however, after paralysing it with Flaafy, it couldn't do much more and the Hive badge was mine!
 
Trying to catch Ho-oh. It just killed itself with Struggle for the second time. Ugh. I hate Ho-oh.

Just restarted HeartGold today. I chose a female Chikorita for my starter, and she is currently joined on the team by a female Mareep! I just destroyed the Sprout Tower, as well as Falkner. That battle was annoying, as Pidgeotto kept using Roost, and ThunderShock nearly ran out of PP! However, I now have the Zephyr Badge under my belt, and will hopefully be having some more Pokemon joining the team too. ^^

After a bit of boredom with Platinum, I picked Heart Gold up again yesterday and finally defeated Whitney. I caught a Heracross (female) in Azelea Town at level 3 and trained it up to level 19 to learn Brick Break. Stag completely OBLITERATED every single Pokémon that opposed her in the Gym. She two-shot Whitney's Miltank, one-shot her Clefairy. I then went and caught the Sudowoodo and started making my way to Ecruteak city.

I might juggle between Heart Gold and Platinum. I love Platinum for the 4th Generation Pokémon but I love Heart Gold for the 16 Gyms. :P

After 8 gyms, you can get 4th gen Pokemon :D

- Beat the E4 pretty easily. Calm Mind Suicune ftw.
- Went to Kanto.
- Went back to Johto.
- Went to the BF
- My team got swept by a Sharpedo one battle before the fronteir head. :|

I think I'm Ev training.............. my new 5th generation SS team. All my teams have so far been fast lvl uppers but now, since i have no traded pokes (all bred by me/Solo) on the team it'll be alot harder to get to lvl 60.

Still not in the mood to go after Groundon.

Been thoroughly enjoying Heart Gold once again. I was grinding levels for my Drowzee to get him to evolve before Morty, then levelled Croconaw a bit in the Ecruteak Gym. I LOLPWNED Morty with Psybeam and Bite. Quick Claw proc'd for Hypno on Gengar and I got a Crit on Psybeam, 1 shotted :D

Training my team before I make my way to Chuck. I evolved Hoothoot and even as Noctowl it is still the lamest flying type I've ever had.

Obtained Eevee, going to grind before Chuck. Ditched Noctowl. Never been a fan of pure flying types, so will use her for Fly. Will probably add Eevee in my team in some form.
