Hi there. I had always had an interest in competitive battling, so decided to join PokeCommunity. I figured it would be a good idea to join the rest of the site, so here I am, in the flesh.

Quick question- I noticed in your details you had to claim a Pokemon to use it. If I wanted to use a sprite as an avatar, would I had to claim it or whatever?

Just so everyone knows: I don't speak french. :P
My stepbrother had a job where he needed to be bilingual, and whenever someone called him, he would say "Hello/Bonjour?"

I thought it was funny so It caught on.

Wow, I'm sure that got kinda tedious for him after a while. XD But hey, I'm sure he was making some pretty good money. Knowing another language typical pays off when it comes to the job market.

Oh, and feel free to use whatever Pokémon you want as an avatar! You absolutely don't have to "own" it just to use it. :P As Archer said, claiming Pokémon is strictly optional and holds no real importance on the boards.
