Hey! Welcome to the forums! I've just joined the site today too. If you would like more people to reply to your topic, I would add more to your introduction first incase a member of staff locks it. I've seen a few locked due to them being kept short or off topic. What is your favorite PoKeMoN? How long have you been a fan of the series? Do you prefer the games or TV shows? Stuff like that! Do you have hobbies, interests and so on...
To answer your question, from what I've seen there is just so much to do! there are groups to support your favorite PoKeMoN or characters (like Team Rocket for example). Theres places to talk about the latest games (like PoKeMoN White & Black). Even an art gallery and fanfiction! I'd have a look around the site first and see what interests you before diving into posting. Best of luck!

Based on your Pokemon favorites (I see you got Swellow and Torchic...two of my favorites from the 3rd Generation :D), I suggest you take a visit to Pokemon General, and/or the 4th Generation Gaming forum. You'll be surprised at what other Pokemon fans are talking about here! ^_^ The PokeCommunity has a lot to offer, even if it's not Pokemon related. :)
Just be sure you read the rules and the FAQ, and I'm always around if you have any questions, or simply need a guide through PC. Have fun and I'll see ya. :3
